There are roughly 300 seats available within the white round building which is similar to a snow dome, so even large numbers of people can feel relieved and use it with confidence. Located in one of the Fujimi Sankei (three best viewpoints of Mt. Fuji), this teahouse established in 1934 has long been popular as a spot to enjoy a landscape of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. Due to the teahouse's association with Dazai Osamu, its second floor serves as the Dazai Osamu Literary Memorial Room. It offers items such as dried flowers and antique goods, as well as a selection of cakes which are also available as takeout. Children under the age of 10 years old are not welcome here.

Their long-time specialty since the restaurant’s founding is the fruit tea containing a generous helping of seven varieties of fruit. The Morning Basket full of Mt. This is a poultry farm near the entrance of Yatsugatake-ohashi Bridge, growing original Kaijishamo chickens, and Koshu Hootoshidori fowl, a domestically unusual helmeted guinea fowl, and an endorsed brand of poultry in Yamanashi Prefecture. There is a combined restaurant and shop and in the restaurant visitors can enjoy meals made from eggs and chicken meat of which the farm is proud, such as yakitori, bowls of chicken and egg on rice, and liver dishes and so on. This is a well-established Japanese sweets shop boasting over 100 years of history, located in a corner of Daigaharajuku on the Koshu-kaido Road. The Japanese sweets use homemade slowly cooked bean paste. The beans, which are cultivated with limited pesticide from restricted farmers, are produced in Tokachi, Hokkaido and are cooked slowly with the water of Hakushu, selected as one of the 100 best waters. The aroma and moderate sweetness is exquisite with a refreshing after taste. Every summer (from the beginning of June until the end of September), on Saturdays and Sundays, excluding holidays, they offer a limited number of simple sweets “mizushingen mochi” using famous Hakushu water which is also used in the red bean paste, set with agar.
