The bath opens one hour before sunrise so opening hours vary depending on the season. The spring water in the Kocchi-no-yu bath is completely colorless and transparent while the freshly poured bath water in the Acchi-no-yu bath is a clear and bright yellowish brown color. The water is said to be good for those who are overly sensitive to the cold, those who have nerve pains, and also aids fatigue recovery. The new water sources make it more difficult to catch a chill after the bath and cause little irritation to the skin so it is good for children or the elderly. As well as hot spring baths, there are souvenir shops, snack bars, restaurants and outdoor viewing terraces on site.

The name of the spa, which opens at 6:00 a.m. on weekends and holidays from December to February, originates from the views of a snow-capped Mt. Fuji dyed red by the sunrise that its baths offer.

    Koshu Municipal Health Center, Daibosatsu no Yu, is a hot spring facility for day use. It is a short drive from Enzan Station on the Chuo Line in the city of Koshu, Yamanashi Prefecture. Drivers should follow the Ome Highway (Daibosatsu Line) in the direction of Lake Okutama. The water of this hot spring is said to be effective against nervous pain and aid recovery from fatigue, and it has a higher concentration of alkali than any other hot spring in the world. In addition to indoor baths, a whirlpool bath, and a bath fed directly from the spring, there is an outdoor bath surrounded with a natural rock. Other facilities include a restaurant where visitors can enjoy local cuisine, such as Hoto (vegetables and udon noodles in a miso broth), a dog exercise area, and a souvenir shop where visitors can buy locally produced vegetables.

    Ishiwari no Yu is a hot spring facility for day use. It is located a ten-minute drive along the Higashi-Fujigoko Toll Road from the Subashiri Interchage on the Tomei Expressway. This single spring contains alkaline water with a high concentration of hydrogen ions, and it is believed to be effective against muscle soreness and nerve pain. The main building contains reclining baths, and the outdoor baths include a cedar bath and a stone bath. A sauna is also available. Visitors can rest in the lounge or rent individual rooms. They can also purchase light meals, vegetables and other local produce, and souvenirs at the various sales counters.

    A day trip hot spring bathhouse situated along Aonuma-dori Street close to the National Route 20 Kamihara intersection. The waters of the bathhouse' mildly alkaline simple spring contain an abundance of both sodium ions and sodium bicarbonate and are said to beautify the skin due to their high moisturizing properties. The bathhouse has two atmospheric outdoor baths, one made with ancient hinoki cypress wood and one made with stones brought from the foot of Mt. Fuji. The bathhouse' restaurant serves dishes made based on the concept of local production for local consumption, such as Fuji Sakura pork and Kofu chicken. The bathhouse is open and airy with high ceilings, and bathers can enjoy the charms of Kofu in a relaxing atmosphere.

The bathhouse' large Kuroshio bath is filled with water containing the same mineral salts as seawater, including an abundance of potassium, calcium, and other organic substances, promoting mental stability. The bathhouse' outdoor bath receives a pleasant breeze blowing off of Lake Saiko and allows bathers to take in the sounds of nature. After your bath, you can enjoy local cuisine in a 182 square meter rest lounge, such as hoto and Yoshida udon noodles.

Here you can enjoy hot spring waters welling up from deep underground which contain an ultra-high concentration of minerals. Facilities include an outdoor bath filled with the distinctive red waters of the bathhouse' source spring, another outdoor bath whose clear waters are created by mixing the waters of the source spring with water from the Ojiro River in a one to nine ratio, an indoor bath, and a sauna. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium-chloride high concentration salt spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain, muscle soreness, and fatigue.

Fuji, Mt. Kai-Komagatake and others. The hot springs arising out of the border between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates is rich in sodium and calcium. In addition to the luxuriating body moisture replenishment, these waters are said to be therapeutic for nerve pain and muscle soreness, and chronic skin diseases and women’s diseases. Separately equipped for women and men, one can enjoy indoor and outdoor baths of four differing temperatures and take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area even at night.

    This is a day-use hot spring bathhouse located about a 10-minute drive from the Kaiyamato Station on the JR Chuo Main Line. The spring water quality is simply alkaline water said to be beneficial for nerve pain and muscle soreness, joint pain, chronic digestive diseases, and sensitivity to cold. This rare high-alkaline water, one of the few found in Japan, is also beneficial for the skin. There are many varieties of baths for the guests besides the main large bath. There is a reclining bath, a jet bath, an outside bath and a gentle bubbles bath. The Tenmoku restaurant serves regional gourmet cuisine incorporating local produce. The maitake mushroom tempura, and chicken giblets are highly recommended.

    This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located in Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Japanese haiku master Matsuo Basho once stayed in the area, and the facility's name comes from his love of the moon's beauty. The simple alkaline spring is said to help alleviate nerve pain, sore muscles, and sore joints. It has two kinds of outdoor baths, a rock encircled bath and one bordered with larger stones. The indoor baths have varying water temperatures. The men's and women's bathing areas alternate each week, and each of the outdoor bathing areas has a stone monument to Matsuo Basho. They provide body soap and shampoo, and they rent towels too. In addition to a large lounge where you can unwind, you can visit their eatery for their meal sets or to try Hoto noodles, a Yamanashi specialty.
