In total, the waters for all of the 13 baths, for women and men, are direct flowing sulfate spring waters said to be beneficial for hardening of the arteries, and external cuts. The pride of the resort is its luxurious outdoor garden bath rustically designed with natural trees, and large lava boulders. The restaurant, coin massage corner, and free relaxation lounge are recommended. The shop selling the local Aso vegetables and farm products are also a treat. Lodging guests of the Arden Hotel Aso may bathe as many times as they wish for free.
