In total, the bathhouse has 13 unique bathing areas, including the Aitetsu no Yu, which bears a theme based on the popular folktale Bunbuku Chagama; the ""Tale of the Bamboo Cutter""-themed Geppaku no Yu; and the Hisui no Yu, which has a spacious Shigaraki ware outdoor bath. The bathhouse is supplied with water from a strongly alkaline simple springs considered one of the best in Kyushu. The waters of this spring are said to treat nerve pain and joint pain, keep the body warm long after your bath, and leave your skin smooth and soft."

Each employs a coin-operated timer system and its waters are replaced with each user, ensuring you'll always enjoy a fresh-filled bath which no one else has been in. The bathhouse' outdoor baths are filled with the waters of a sodium-chloride spring which generates over 400 liters of piping hot water a minute. These waters contain an abundance of metasilicic acid and are renowned for treating such ailments as cuts, skin diseases, and recovery from fatigue. The bathhouse also has a premium reservable bath (family bath) in which customers will feel like they're staying at an extravagant hot spring inn.
