The bathhouse has a hinoki cypress bathing area and a stone bathing area; which is the men's and which the women's alternates on a monthly basis. Each bathing area is outfitted with 15 types of baths and four types of saunas. The bathhouse' full array of facilities also includes a rest lounge, relaxation center, karaoke room, theater room, and other entertainment facilities, as well as a restaurant and banquet hall.

The waters of the bathhouse' chloride spring are said to treat such ailments as dry skin and sensitivity to cold. The bathhouse has two outdoor bath area's - the men's has a Japanese style rock bath, while the women's is styled like a tropical resort. Some of the many indoor bath facilities include ""tsuboyu"" round single person baths, a lie down bath, and an electric bath. There's also a rest lounge and restaurant for customers to relax in."

受付の若めの女性がすごい態度悪かったお風呂はそこら辺のスーパー銭湯と変わりませんが男性風呂で裸の状態なのに平気でおばさんがすいません通りますと言ってきて正直気分害しました。掃除の方だろうからあまり悪く言いたくないですがデリカシーは持っていただきたい。気にする人に配慮が足りない店舗だと思いました。あとロッカーの上が埃まみれでした。

Facilities include a high concentration carbonated bath, hydrogen bath, skin beautifying bath, ""tsuboyu"" round single person baths, large whirlpool bath, lie down bath, and sauna. The spa has put particular effort into its stone saunas, and in addition to a standard stone sauna, there's also a rock salt sauna and medicinal herb sauna. In the lounge area, there are a variety of facilities for customers to use like massage chairs and an aesthetic and massage salon. The buffet had many different foods to choose from and was very plentiful. We left very satisfied and our bellies full.

This bathhouse is located just one minute from the Handa Chuo Interchange on the Chita Hanto Road. This hot springs day-bath, The Gongitsune, is aptly named after the masterpiece of the children’s literature writer, Niimi Nankichi, whose hometown is Handa City. One can enjoy rather higher temperature waters at 44 to 45 °C here. It houses a quintessential Japanese bath wafting with tree balm, and another open-air bath amidst a Japanese garden. The free flowing spring waters of the Takitsuboyu bath percolate up from 1,500m underground at 59.2 °C. This high-salt spring (hypertonic alkalescent hot spring waters) is said to have beneficial properties for neuralgia, sore muscles, and joints.

In addition to bathing in their waters, drinking them and absorbing the extremely faint radiation they give off is said to detoxify the body.
