Located in a corner of Tsurugisan Quasi-National Park, the rocky cliffs on both banks of the Yoshino River are a nationally-designated Natural Monument. The hot spring located in this rugged yet beautiful secluded area, one of western Japan’s most scenic spots, offers two different types of baths to enjoy. The large public bath is sourced from a simple sulfur spring while the terrace-style open air bath features artificial mineral spring water. Although the spa is usually open to day bathers, day bathers may be subject to access or time restrictions when the spa is crowded.

This day spa offers guests the chance to enjoy hot springs with an incredibly high concentration of minerals. The springs are thought to be sourced from ancient seawater that has been concentrated over thousands of years. The sodium chloride - hydrogen carbonate hot springs are popular for their many purported health benefits as well as for giving bathers clear, moist skin. We recommend both the chic Japanese Spa, which is finished in black granite and bamboo, as well as the bright and elegant Asian Spa, which is finished in white granite.

We spent the afternoon here not so long ago and had a really nice time. There were plenty of different baths both outdoor and indoor and there’s a nice little play area for children. My baby had a...
