    Located along the Yobuko coast, this is Japan’s first restaurant in the sea. In the center is a huge fish preserve connected to the sea, creating an aquarium-like atmosphere. The underwater table and tatami-room seats allow one to watch the fish in close proximity, and in the tatami hall above one can look out over the Yobuko mountains and Yobuko Ohashi bridge in a preeminent location while tasting fish cuisine of unparalleled freshness. At the front they sell souvenirs including the famous squid steamed dumpling.

    A live seafood restaurant located in Yobokucho, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture; on the first floor, diners can enjoy watching squid swim lively in the fish tank located in the center. The shop’s vaunted squid a brought directly via tank from the boats of local fisherman. The ikizukuri special, which includes squid sashimi prepared direct from the tank, is so fresh the squid’s arms may still move. The restaurant also offers a variety of other fresh seafood dishes, including tempura and kaiseki course cuisine. In addition to table seating, Kawatarou offers tatami seating and private rooms and can also accommodate group meals and parties.

The restaurant's champon, consisting of a rich tonkotsu pork bone broth and a heaping pile of crisp vegetables, has been made according to the same recipe since the establishment first opened its doors in 1949. In addition to champon, the restaurant also serves pork cutlet and other rice bowls as well as udon noodles.

The restaurant's signature dish is its ""Ita Soba""-a three-person portion of soba noodles piled on top of a seiro steaming basket."

    In the last month we went there to eat Soba. The sobs were pretty good. We love their Soba so much. Very good!

Genkai is renowned for its chewy squid ikizukuri (slices of fresh raw fish arranged to look lifelike) and other seafood kaiseki course cuisine. The restaurant also offers ikizukuri and broiled fish dishes à la carte, making it a great place to enjoy a casual meal as well.

    This tofu shop makes its tofu using high quality Kyushu soybeans. A small 10-seat restaurant adjoins the shop which opens four times a day at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m. in line with when fresh batches of tofu are made. The zaru-dofu (fresh creamy tofu served in a draining basket) is particularly exquisite; the best times to order it are either 8 a.m. when its fresh and warm or at 12 p.m. when the flavor has really set in. During the evening, the restaurant only serves a traditional kaiseki course meal.

The shop is the flagship location for the ARITA PORCELAIN LAB brand developed by Yazaemon-gama, a pottery studio established in 1804. The shop sells Arita ware tableware which combines traditional techniques with designs suited to modern lifestyles. There's also an adjoining cafe which serves dishes made with local ingredients on the brand's tableware.

    有田焼のお店で、カフェレストランが併設されています。コロナ対応で席はゆったり配置ですが、自分たちだけだったので、貸し切り気分でお茶を楽しみました。ラデュレとのコラボの器もあり素敵。紅茶にかぎり、器が選べる。カフェオレとかはえらべない。パーキングは一応あるが、2台なので、車で大勢でいくのにはむかない。
