    かんぱちの専門店とのこと。アカバラ丼っていうのがありましたが、初めてのため定番の漬け丼定食に。九州の甘めの醤油で漬けたかんぱちの漬け丼も美味しかったが、かんぱちの頭の煮込みのあら炊きは魚好きにはたまらない。時間をかけてほろほろほぐしながら頂きました。

    This sushi restaurant is operated by Sushitora, a chain with several locations in the prefecture. Guests can enjoy Edo-style sushi carefully crafted with techniques passed down for generations at reasonable prices. The quality of their sushi comes from an obsessive focus on details such as when the fish is its most delicious, how to best cut each fish, and even the exact angle the knife is held. Two varieties of soy sauce are provided; sweet Kyushu-damari and Tora-murasaki, a savory blend of soy sauce and dashi stock. Guests can enjoy selecting the variety that best suits each variety of sushi.

    鹿屋の回転寿司の人気店。味噌汁は無料でついて来る。ついつい飲みすぎてネタが食べられなくなる。九州産のオススメネタはさすが。わざわざ鹿屋まで行く甲斐がある店。

    This barbecue garden is operated by Sanshinya, a producer of Satsuma Kurobuta pork established in 1984. Guests can enjoy the tenderness and the rich savory flavor of Satsuma Kurobuta pork in a simple space surrounded by greenery. All of the pork served comes from free-range Satsuma Kurobuta pigs raised in a spacious wooden pigsty nestled in the forests. The pigs are raised with additive-free feed without any unnecessary growth hormones, antibiotics, or preservatives, giving customers peace of mind. Dining at the barbecue garden requires making a reservation at least three days in advance.

    "This ramen restaurant is the main location of Men's la Pasha, a chain that has several restaurants in the prefecture. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it serves bowls of noodles made with top-grade flour. Their popular Kagoshima Shio Ramen won first prize at a ramen competition commemorating the completion of the Kagoshima Route of the Kyushu Shinkansen. Its soup has a light yet robust flavor that is good to the last drop. The blend of wheat flour used in the noodles has been carefully selected to give them flexibility, so it' chewy and going down smoothly. The restaurant's ""Pajamen,"" a tonkotsu shoyu (pork bone and soy sauce) ramen noted for its addictively rich and sweet flavor, is also popular."

    A restaurant located in Osumi Yagoro Roadside Station along National Route 269. Operated by the livestock breeding company Onari Chikusan, its menu is centered on pork dishes made from Yagoro pork, Onari Chikusan's proprietary brand. Yagoro pork is characterized by the sweet taste of its fat and its juicy meat, and one of the most popular dishes on the menu is Roast Pork Cutlet, which gives customers a direct sample of these qualities. Shabushabu and pork steak dinners are available to customers who reserve in advance. The rice served with these meals is grown organically in the surrounding Osumi area. Another attractive feature of this restaurant and an example of its devotion to local consumption of local products is that it acquires its vegetables from the adjacent farmers' market.

    お馴染みのケンタッキーフライドチキン。 休日になると多くの利用者が入るよう。 また平日夜でも多くの車が止まっている。 駐車場も広くなく行くときにはかなり混雑が予想される。 行った時はたまたまお客さんが少なかっだがいつも多くのお客さんで賑わっている。 さすが田舎のチェーン店と言う感じだった。

    家族連れで賑わう店。 入るときには時間帯を注意しないとかなり待つ可能性もある。 1皿108円から気軽に寿司、が出来る店。 味は価格相応にはなってしまうが、メニューも多く1人でも家族連れでも行ける。 回転すしでは値段に見合った店である。

    曽於市役所そばです。なんといっても390円(税抜)の日替りランチはコスパが高くて最高です。いつもランチタイムは満席。昼間はサラリーマンが非常に多いです。帰りには必ずドリンクバー割引チケットもらえます。駐車場も大変広いです。

Over 100 active volcanoes across Kagoshima make it one of the Japan's most exciting prefectures. The prefectural capital, Kagoshima city, looks out to one of the prefecture’s most spectacular volcanoes, Sakurajima, an island of its own that can be visited and seen close up or admired from afar, with the promise of breathtaking sunsets complete with frequent puffs of smoke and ash. Down the Satsuma Peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Japan, waterfalls, sand onsen, and fascinating history await, while Kagoshima's abundance of satsuma imo (sweet potato) provide a wholesome snack as well as one of Japan's favourite drinks - shochu.
