Yagoro-tei Kurobuta Pork Restaurant

Operated by the livestock breeding company Onari Chikusan, its menu is centered on pork dishes made from Yagoro pork, Onari Chikusan's proprietary brand. Yagoro pork is characterized by the sweet taste of its fat and its juicy meat, and one of the most popular dishes on the menu is Roast Pork Cutlet, which gives customers a direct sample of these qualities. Shabushabu and pork steak dinners are available to customers who reserve in advance. The rice served with these meals is grown organically in the surrounding Osumi area. Another attractive feature of this restaurant and an example of its devotion to local consumption of local products is that it acquires its vegetables from the adjacent farmers' market.
