    A shop located along the approach to the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine which invented the Inari senbei rice cracker. The shop’s famed kitsune senbei (Inari senbei) are baked one at a time using an iron in the shop’s work space. The shop’s bell-shaped suzu senbei, containing a fortune slip inside, have been popular souvenirs to bring back after a visit to the shrine since the shop was founded.

    ご家族でやっている昔ながらの雰囲気でお若い方もいらしてとても感じの良いお店です。皆さんにもぜひ足を運んでもらいたいです。 稲荷煎餅も作りたてで美味しいです。他にも同じような店がありますがこちらは値段もお安くオススメします。

They have plenty of unique baked goods like their Kyo Dashimaki Shokudo buns with rolled Japanese omelet and their white miso and eggplant dengaku rolls. It has been featured in the media and is popular with locals and tourists alike.

    奥社参拝所からUターン、小休止で寄ってみました。 カフェはなぜか？営業しておらず無料休憩所で休みました。 緑が綺麗で、景色・雰囲気も良く森の風が流れていて、意外な穴場スポットでした。

    We had lunch at the newest Doikatsuman branch close to Yasaka Shrine. The eel dishes were good and I especially enjoyed the hitsumabushi item which is to enjoy the eel in 3 different ways.

    和菓子から洋菓子、アイスも充実しています。テレビで紹介された「もなどら」は小さい割には高かかったので購入せずにショートケーキと定番のプリンを購入しました。夕方に行くとショートケーキは少ないので、午前中がお勧め。そして何故かワインの量り売りをしていたのが、印象的でした。
