    美味しいうなぎをいただきました。とってもふっくらしています。骨煎餅も進みます。お店も小綺麗で好感が持てます。空いていたのはそもそもこの辺に人がいないからかもしれません。三方五湖に訪れた際はおすすめです。

    アオリイカのお刺身が美味しかったです。ゲソなどはリクエストを聞いてくれて天ぷらにしてもらいました。さすが西!という感じの女将さん(かな?)が明るく気さくな方で楽しかったです。日本海の海の幸をたくさんいただけて大変満足でした。

    A restaurant in Kumagawa, Wakasa Town, Mikatakaminaka County. They serve sweets including Kudzu-mochi rice dumplings, Kudzu starch noodles, and zenzai red bean soup as well as soba and udon noodles with kudzu, all made with top quality kudzu which has been soaked in pure stream waters. They're also well known for their mackerel sushi made with domestic fresh mackerel and locally grown Koshihikari rice. Their mackerel sushi and Kudzu-mochi are also available as take-away souvenirs.

    熊川葛を今でも使っているのかどうかはわかりませんが、葛まんじゅうと葛ぜんざいを選択、葛粉の香りはまずまず、小豆もさっぱりで悪くありません。周辺の店は半分くらい閉まっている感じですが、勘定をすましたころ、近隣の道の駅に観光バス5台が到着、大勢のアジア系観光客が、、、収容能力を超えていますが、大丈夫ですかね。

Treats for sale include three varieties of Kudzu yokan-jelly and a dumpling with dough made from roasted rice flour wrapped around a deluxe red bean paste. It the attached tea deinking area you can enjoy a cup of matcha green tea with your sweets.

    和菓子屋さんですが喫茶スペースがあり、和菓子以外もいただけるようです。和菓子は種類が多くて選ぶのを迷ってしまいます。私がいつも購入するのは栗の入った上品な甘さの「きんつば」と栗が丸々一個入った蕎麦饅頭「八百姫千代寿」で私のお気に入りです。和菓子ばかりでなく、日持ちもする焼き洋菓子もあります。商品によって購入注文してから少々時間がかかるものもあり、茶菓子の接待(無料)をいただけることもあります。

    飛び入りで入店し昼食を摂りました。3300円の刺身定食ですが、その刺身の新鮮で美味しいこと!ウニは殻ごとで、7点ほどの種類でした。焼き魚と刺身のメニューで悩んでいたら「切り身の焼き魚が添えられるか板長に伝えます。」との配慮。心図解がうれしかったです。

    福井に来たからにはどうしてもソースカツ丼が食べたかった。当日は火曜日でヨーロッパ軒はあいにくの定休日。急遽空いている店を探したところこだま食堂さんがヒット。わらじカツ丼なるものがあり、興味は増す一方。急いで車を走らせたところ、すでに店前には行列が。結局1時間以上待ちましたか、わらじカツは最高の食べ応えでした。小浜市に行く機会があればまた寄りたいです。おススメです。
