    An authentic Sanuki udon noodle restaurant which was established in 1972 and which makes all of its udon by hand. The spacious main restaurant grounds include a Japanese courtyard, and the establishment offers comfortable Japanese tatami mat and counter seating. The expansive menu includes simple udon noodles like kake udon noodles in broth and yudame udon served in hot water, as well as conger eel tempura (only offered on Sundays and holidays); and udon sukiyaki, a Gennai specialty.

    美味しい讃岐うどんを食べたくて入店。 「かけうどん」とか「ぶっかけ」とかの普通のを頼むつもりが、周りの皆さんが軒並みメニューにはない「かしわカレーうどん（カレーうどんにかしわ天ぷらのトッピング）」頼むのを見て私も追随。一口食べて納得。 2回めもかしわカレーうどんを頂きました。でも、天ぷらざるうどんも美味しそうだなー。次こそは。

However, their noodle master really excels at udon that's so tasty you can it without any condiments at all. They also have side dishes and a variety of condiments you add at the table including ginger, sesame, shichimi spice blend, and tenkasu tempura bits.

    An udon noodle restaurant where customers can enjoy udon crafted by master chefs and take in a view of the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. The easternmost udon noodle restaurant in the prefecture, the establishment also has an outdoor area with a view of the Seto Inland Sea sprawling into the distance just beyond the railing. Situated along National Route 11, the restaurant is also a convenient place to take a break and get a light meal while traveling through the area.

    讃岐うどんめぐり。沿岸沿いの店なので、瀬戸内海を眺めながらうどんが食べれる。卵とじうどん小340円とは安い。ちょうど良い太さで、出汁も美味い。

    This Udon noodle shop is located in front of Okubo-ji Temple, the 88th temple on the Shikoku 88-temple Pilgrimage in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. A specialty is the hand-made soft yet firm noodles that have been carefully kneaded with miraculous water that springs from the hill behind Okubo-ji Temple. The signature menu is “Uchikomi-udon” which is freshly made udon stewed together with vegetables such as Japanese radish, carrot, taro, and spring onion. It is a genuine local dish having a nostalgic flavor, cooked with miso which will make you warm from the inside even on a cold day.

    四国八十八ヶ所結願の寺の前にあるお土産物屋と飲食店でした。名物は鍋ですが、さむきうどんもありました。釜玉うどんにしましたがすぐに配膳されました。柚子を使った七味唐辛子を入れるとさらに美味しくなりました。

    The Hane Sanuki Honpo is a Japanese confectionery store carrying natural Wasanbon sugar confections, located 10 minutes by foot from the JR Sanuki Aioi Station, on the Kotoku Line. For over 200 years since its founding, the Hane Sanuki Honpo has been producing Wasanbon confections using traditional craftsmanship. The Wasanbon, made from painstakingly kneaded local sugar cane, has a delicate sweetness that gently melts in your mouth. Confections shaped in seasonal flower forms, as well as the ‘winged’ Hane Sanuki in cute packaging, make for great gifts and teacakes.

    The Kamebishi Chaya is just a five-minute walk from the Hiketa Station in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture. The historical Kamebishi Chaya udon hideaway is operated by the impressive over 250-year-old Kamebishiya soy sauce factory. One can enjoy flavor of soy sauce in all forms of the creations inspired by the storeowners; including the Kagawa specialty Sanuki Udon with moromi unrefined soy sauce topping to blend into the broth. They offer moromi ice cream and soy sauce topped Mitarashi Dango rice cakes. The scrupulously selected domestic soy beans and wheat used for making the soy sauce using the traditional mushiro straw mat-method makes for an exquisite seasoning.

    着いたのは1時でしたが、ほぼ満席。 オーダーが2時までだったようで、ギリギリでした。 ハマチ丼、ハマチのお刺身定食をいただきました。 厚みがすごく、味も最高でした！ 近所にあったら毎週通いたいお店です。

    This Chinese restaurant is located a five-minute drive from the Shido Interchange. The restaurant’s chic, undressed concrete exterior draws the eye; inside, customers can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. The former owner and chef was the favorite apprentice of Chen Kenmin, who popularized Sichuan cuisine in Japan. The open and airy restaurant interior also has a view of an inner garden, and diners can enjoy their meal along with the garden’s seasonal appearance. The restaurant’s signature dish is its rich and flavorful dandanmian noodles.

    家族経営をしている小さな中華料理屋です。規模は比較的小さいですが、味は侮れません。無茶苦茶美味しいです。担々麺最高‼二代目になっても味は美味しいままです。

    This is an udon restaurant just a five-minute drive from the Shirotori Ouchi Interchange on the Takamatsu Expressway. With the Konpira Kabuki Theater depicted on their trademark signage, visitors can't miss this shop where they can enjoy per-hydrated noodles. The shop prides themselves on these noodles, which are like kneaded mochi and have a chewy texture that is quite resilient. They have been serving authentic Sanuki udon noodles, with no additives or other modified starches, since their founding in 1926. Their most popular item is the Kamanuki udon dish, where the boiled noodles are directly placed your bowl without water-cooling, and then simply topped with an egg, dried bonito flakes and soy sauce.

    イオン系の安売りスーパーの衣料品売り場横の一角にあります。駐車場も共用なので、とても広いです。（しかし割と混んでいる。）休日でもここのマクドナルドは割と空いている気がします。手軽に買えるのでいいです。

    田舎だと、オシャレなカフェなんかも少なくて、ドリンクバーがあるジョイフルは長時間居ても迷惑そうにはされずとっても便利です。広い机に2人とか座ってレポートとか、お勉強とか便利です。 充電できれば尚いいのですが、残念ながらできません…。

    お味はかなりいけると思います、でも高いと思います。場所は多少わかりにくく、また駐車場もここでいいのかと思うような公共の駐車場を使っているという感じです。しかしやはりいつも思うのはこういった地元のお店は観光客にはかなり入りにくいといった感じは否めません。残念ながら排他的な感じがしました。お店の看板にはいろいろなキャッチフレーズが書いてあったにも関わらず残念です。

    海鮮専門の店ですが、夜はそこそこの値段がします。オススメは昼のランチで800円ぐらいで食べられます。ランチの内容はおまかせですが、季節の魚料理を食べられて毎日行っても飽きません。
