They have a variety of flavors such as plain, matcha green tea, chocolate and strawberry. Because they sell right sized tarts from individual pieces, they are perfect as souvenirs. Their ""Rakuda no Kobu Cream Puffs"" with plenty of cream in its soft dough, and seasonal cakes with select seasonal fruit are also popular."

    丸ごとの桃やメロンの、二分の一を使ったケーキが見た目にも鮮やかです。地味ですが津和野の栗を使ったモンブランが甘すぎず美味しいです。

    This Japanese confectionery store was founded in 1913. It is located a five-minute walk from Matsue Shinjiko Onsen Station and sells not only classic Japanese confectionery such as manju buns and dorayaki (pancakes with red bean paste), but also seasonal sweets such as mizuyokan (soft sweet bean jelly) and fruit jelly. Their Yubeshi, a soft gummy kneaded with yuzu citrus, has the refreshing aroma of yuzu and is the signature product of Fukudaya. These traditional confections, which have been handed down since the Edo period (1603-1868), are lavishly made with local yuzu from Shimane Prefecture, making them refined gems. Wakakusa, known as the favorite confectionery of the seventh leader of the Unshu Matsudaira clan, Fumaiko, is a perfect souvenir when visiting Izumo.

    This cafe and gallery is adjacent to Matsue Shinjiko-Onsen Station on the Ichibata Electric Railway. The restaurant has a sense of openness and is bright and offers coffee, tea, Chinese herbal curry and cold soba buckwheat noodles. Their zenzai (red bean soup) made with red beans from Izumo and rice cakes from Unnan has a gentle sweetness. It is perfect when taking a break from strolling in the hot spring town because of the amount. The Chinese herbal curry uses Shussai ginger, a brand with a more than 400 year-history, and is made with multigrain rice, which is considered healthy. The exhibition space displays cute Japanese everyday items and accessories. There are many tourists who stop by to purchase souvenirs after eating.

    しんじ湖温泉駅のすぐそばのお店です。電車の待ち時間にぜんざいを頂きました。あっさりした甘味と焼いたお餅の香ばしさ。 お値段はちょっとお高めかな？とは思いましたが、セットの緑茶のお代わりをサービスしてもらえたりと電車が来るまでゆったりと過ごせました。 小さくてかわいい雑貨もたくさん販売されています。

This shop has a truly homey atmosphere, as they've simply added customer seating to a private house, and offers up a historic style that's been handed down through the famous Matsue shop Matsumoto Soba since the Edo period. Their popular Kama-age Soba noodles made from hikigurumi (whole buckwheat flour) is a treat of savory aroma. This Kama-age soba is chewy without breaking, giving it a toothsome texture that fills the mouth with soba aroma with every bite. It comes with richly seasoned broth on the side for customers to mix and match to their own tastes. This shop's reputation has spread as it's become a favorite of local soba professionals and experts, called ""soba-lier"" that is not a sommelier."

    This sweets cafe is part of Kyomise shopping street, with its old fashioned city scenery. Founded in 1945, it has offered up its carefully made dango dumplings made from Okuizumo Nita grown Nitamai koshihikari rice, one of the two most highly rated koshihikari varieties, reputed as Uonuma koshihikari rice in eastern Japan and Nitamai koshihikari rice in western Japan. This shop, marked on the outside by its old fashioned machiya townhouse design, is spacious and elegant on the inside. Their meticulously handmade dumplings are the perfect company for a break on your stroll through Matsue. They also offer standard sweet treats like parfaits and zenzai sweet bean soup, as well as a Japanese-style house-made ramen with carefully selected ingredients. Their ramen uses rich flying-fish stock, and it's available in a Dango set meal with Mitarashi Dango sweet dumplings with a soy sauce syrup.

    カツと言ってもとんかつですが分厚くて8切くらいあったと思います。普通のビーフカレーだと野菜は一つも見当たりませんがカツで十分頂けます。自然な福神漬けも自由に食べれますので700円台でこのクオリティは満足です。

    松江市の市街地で宍道湖畔に建つ抜群の立地の料亭です。 地元食材で美味しい料理を提供してくれます。一品一品が丁寧に作り込んだもので美味しくいただきました。 湖に面した個室は少し岸から張り出して、食事をしながらの風景は絶景です。
