It is a large-scale restaurant with many seats, and on the second floor there is on-the-floor seating as well as tables and chairs. It is a four-minute walk from the “Kankodori” tram stop.

    This is a restaurant well-known as the original restaurant of the Shimabara delicacy “Guzoni”, standing right across from Shimabara Castle. Guzoni is prepared by boiling vegetables such as shirona (a leafy vegetable), lotus root etc., with chicken meat, conger eel, and omelette in a soup stock. The wonderful flavor of the bonito stock soup is so popular, people queue to eat here. In addition to Guzoni dishes, there are various set menus to choose from.     This tourism facility also has a large observatory commanding a view of Tachibana Bay, which has even been selected for inclusion in the Japanese 100 Best Scenery list. The facility sells Nagasaki's famous castella cakes and other souvenirs, as well as a wide range of other items, up to and including crafts from across the Kyushu region. There's also a stand which sells the facility's own original and signature Jaga-chan deep-fried potato balls. Meanwhile, a large cafeteria occupying the first and second floors serves a large selection of local dishes such as Nagasaki chanpon and sara udon noodles. This cafeteria has a lot of seating and, with a reservation made at least one day in advance, can even accommodate large tour groups. In the summer, the facility holds a special summer festival as well as nagashi-somen noodle slide events.

    This traditional Japanese restaurant in Nagasaki holds history dating back to the Kanei Era of the Edo Period (Early-mid 1600s) and has been designated a Historic Site of the prefecture. Famous as a meeting place for rebels and writers during the Edo and Meiji periods, the banquet hall on the second floor still bears a slash from the sword of Sakamoto Ryoma. Here you can enjoy the grace of the restaurant and traditional Japanese-Chinese food while looking over an approximately 2,650 square meters Japanese garden. The restaurant is a seven-minute walk from the Sofukuji-Temple stop on the Nagasaki Streetcar.

There's also small sides, onigiri rice balls, and Goto udon noodles made with Goto grown ingredients.

    ツアーの夕食で利用、郷土食の石焼を食べました。旬の寒ぶり、タコやイカ、アナゴ、キャベツやピーマン、椎茸、南瓜、玉ねぎを特製のたれをつけて石の上で焼き、ポン酢やゴマダレをつけて食べる料理です。さっと焼いたぶりはお刺身でも食べられるだけあって美味でした。さつま芋澱粉で作った太麺のろくべい汁も珍しかったです。ふれあい処つしま近くにあり立地も良いと思います。

It offers year-round seasonal tastes of Isahaya blessed with seafood and mountain vegetables. Isahaya grilled eel is characterized by being steamed in a double-bottomed rakuyaki ware vessel after being grilled, and you can enjoy its enchanting plumpness. Their ""una-zen"" (eel rice dish) served in the same earthenware is highly recommended. Their pressed sushi ""Isahaya sushi,"" which is a combination of sushi rice with shiitake mushrooms, dried gourd and other ingredients topped with grilled eel, is the best choice for a souvenir that cannot be tasted anywhere else."
