This traditional Japanese restaurant in Nagasaki holds history dating back to the Kanei Era of the Edo Period (Early-mid 1600s) and has been designated a Historic Site of the prefecture. Famous as a meeting place for rebels and writers during the Edo and Meiji periods, the banquet hall on the second floor still bears a slash from the sword of Sakamoto Ryoma. Here you can enjoy the grace of the restaurant and traditional Japanese-Chinese food while looking over an approximately 2,650 square meters Japanese garden. The restaurant is a seven-minute walk from the Sofukuji-Temple stop on the Nagasaki Streetcar.

一度は見ておきたい花街の遺産と、卓袱料理

今回の長崎観光の目玉の一つとして、事前に予約していきましたが、連休中の昼の部（ランチ）はいっぱいとの事で、夕食の方での予約でした。予約時間より早めについたので、奥の展示室の資料をいろいろと見ることが出来ました。かなり広大な敷地の中に古い建物がいくつも重なり合うように有り、現在の建物は、過去の火事で焼失した部分を含めての１／４くらいと聞き、往時の時にはどの位すごい規模だったのだろうと思いました...
花街丸山の茶屋

花街丸山で最も有名な茶屋。現在も料理屋として営業している。観光目的の立ち入りが禁止されていたので、残念ながら入口から見るだけだった。
料理も資料館も最高でした

お部屋はお庭を見渡せる角部屋、日が入り気持ちいい空間で頂く卓袱料理の素晴らしかったこと！隅々まで行き届いたおもてなしは最高でした。美味しい食事の後は、2階の資料館に案内して頂き、貴重な資料の数々の見学もたのしかったです。
