Of the 12 choice sushi restaurants which are members of the Saiki Sushi Kaido promotional organization, this one is particularly famous. The toppings on the restaurant's nigiri sushi are equal in size to three or four standard pieces of sushi, and you can have them cut into easier to eat portions if you like. The Tokujo Nigiri sushi meal is particularly popular and comes with a seaweed salad topped with chutoro medium-fatty tuna and uni sea urchin. The restaurant's signature, three-centimeter-thick Trendy Tamago egg omelet sushi is made with 12 to 13 eggs, and customers are recommended to share one among several people.

The establishment serves local Seki mackerel and Seki horse mackerel ikizukuri; local cuisine meals which include dishes like chicken tempura and Ryukyu; and seafood course meals. A reservation only all-you-can-eat buffet is located on the third floor; the restaurant also operates a rooftop beer garden in summer.

    タクシーの運転手さんに魚が美味しいと勧められて行きました。 確かにお造りは生きているので、新鮮で美味しい。 でも、一匹を捌くので、2人から。魚好きなので食べられましたが、そうでない人には厳しいかも。 サービスの味噌汁が出てしまったので、鯛の粗汁となりましたが、これは残念ながら臭くて飲めませんでした。他が美味しいだけに残念。

    A long-standing restaurant established in the early Edo period and located in Kitsuki, Kitsuki City. The restaurant is famous for its “Ureshino” sea bream chazuke (sea bream on rice covered in tea) made with Kitsuki tea and sea bream marinated in a sesame sauce crafted according to a secret family recipe. The dish derived its name from a phrase from a former lord of Kitsuki. It is said that he murmured “ureshii noo” (“I am happy”) upon eating sea bream chazuke. The flavor of this tasty dish has been passed down unchanged for generations.

    両親から、ここのたち重は絶品だとよく聞かされていました。イギリス人の旦那は最初、太刀魚を見て、えーって感じでしたが、食べて、こんなに美味しい魚があるのーって驚いていました。私も初めて食べたのですが、鰻重よりも美味しい〰️って感動しました。今はイギリスに住んでいるのでこの味が懐かしい!

For lunch, the cute-looking Hanakago-zen meal is recommended, and consists of several small seasonal dishes made with fresh ingredients served in a basket.

    口コミもあり、朝食をいただいた。なるほどすごい手が込んでいる。一品一品の量は多くないが、全部食べると満腹になる。味は濃いかと思ったがそうでもない。地元の食材がいただけるようでありがたい。焼き魚も骨までいただくことができた。茶碗蒸しに種を抜いた梅干しが入っていたのはびっくりした。 ご飯が入ったおひつが用意される。自分の好きなペースでご飯のおかわりができる。

    海鮮系ならだいたい揃っています。日替わり定食を食べましたが、値段の割に結構品数も多く満足でした。ただ、お昼は混み合うので、注文をしてからだいぶ待たされました。急ぎの時は余りおすすめできません。
