    This is a Japanese restaurant based on the 40th floor of the Park Hyatt Tokyo hotel in the West Shinjuku area of Tokyo’s Shinjuku City. Together with the magnificent views of the city from the large windows, enjoy seasonal ingredients and the taste of cuisine prepared by artisanal cooks well versed in Japanese tradition. Another appeal to the restaurant is their menu of famous Japanese sake brands that have been carefully selected from each region across Japan. During dinner time the night view of Tokyo is beautiful, and during lunch time Mt. Fuji can be seen in the distance when the weather is fine. The luxurious atmosphere that also includes individual rooms is recommended for special occasions, celebrations or even entertaining for business.

    A veteran tonkatsu pork cutlet restaurant founded in 1921. A five-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, this shop nestled on the back streets of Isetan is said to be the birthplace of tonkatsu. The specialty is ton-don, pork cutlet curry on rice. The hearty dish features a chewy cutlet covered with a simple, old-style curry. The cutlet is coated with a mille-feuille-like crust that's soft enough to cut with a spoon, so it's popular among people of all ages . It's often tough to get a seat at lunch during the week.
