    A veteran tonkatsu pork cutlet restaurant founded in 1921. A five-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, this shop nestled on the back streets of Isetan is said to be the birthplace of tonkatsu. The specialty is ton-don, pork cutlet curry on rice. The hearty dish features a chewy cutlet covered with a simple, old-style curry. The cutlet is coated with a mille-feuille-like crust that's soft enough to cut with a spoon, so it's popular among people of all ages . It's often tough to get a seat at lunch during the week.

    I was taken here by a Japanese friend who thinks it is one of the best Tonkatsu and Ebi-Fry restaurants in Tokyo, and I have to agree. It was absolutely delicious! Ive been back here every time I go...

    黄色い看板が目立つ。店内はあまり広くないが、カウンター席とテーブル席がある。とんかつ定食を食べたが、とんかつはしっかり揚げられ肉は比較的柔らかく、ご飯、味噌汁がついてまぁまぁ旨い。料理の種類は比較的多く、値段はリズナブルである。
