Dishes include their alum-free Uzu no Oka Kaisen Uni Shabu with delectable raw local sea urchin, Shima no Ogonhi featuring raw sea urchin, Awaji beef, and local eggs mixed with rice (available in limited quantities), and their miso dressed Awaji beef with onion, served with an entire Awaji Island onion.

    "About 7 minutes by car from the Tsuna Ichinomiya IC on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway, this ryotei offers a variety of Awaji Island gourmet specialties throughout the year: cherry sea bream in spring, pike conger eel and fresh young sardines in summer, Spanish mackerel in fall, three-year torafugu in winter and Awaji beef year-round. The ""Awajishima Set Meal"" is also popular, served with fresh shirasu (baby sardines) for lunch from the end of April to the end of November."

    Very nice atmosphere, fresh ingredients, presented in a nice Japanese fusion style. We had delicious Awaji beef and wonderfully fresh sashimi. Highly recommended.

    A Japanese restaurant located a five minute drive from the Higashiura Interchange on the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway. The establishment takes great pride in its cuisine made with fresh seafood stocked from Kariya Port and Iwaya Port. The restaurant's variety rich menu spans everything from kaiseki course cuisine and seafood course meals to lunch set meals, and the establishment accommodates all kinds of customers, from families with children to parties large and small. The seafood on offer varies depending on the season, but from June to early September the restaurant offers daggertooth pike conger dishes, while October to the end of March is the season for blowfish cuisine. During lunchtime, customers can enjoy reasonably priced meals like a mixed rice made with local octopus, and, depending on the season, a tasty raw whitebait donburi rice bowl.

    Fresh sashimi, Awaji beef, Japanese noodle provided. Well tasted. Spacious and bright room for eating, typical Japanese style. Warm service.

    This seafood restaurant is on National Route 28 in Hirota, Minami Awaji City. They offer fare featuring the seasonal flavors of Awaji Island and fresh fish straight from the harbor. Multi-course meals include Awaji Island conger eel, masu salmon, and sannen tiger pufferfish. They have raw sawara mackerel and raw baby sardine rice bowls, and sushi made with the best fish Awaji has to offer. Awaji Island 's finest grade red uni sea urchin is available a la carte on rice, as nigiri sushi, or sashimi style. They also have a multi-course meal with uni shabu-shabu.

    Little gem in the middle of nowhere! Had a great meal at this restaurant, fantastic tempura and excellent seafood. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Worth a trip if in the middle of Awaji!

Operated by the adjoining Kakihara Poultry Farm egg wholesaler, the restaurant serves hearty and filling takoyaki octopus dumplings. The restaurant's signature takoyaki is made with an abundance of eggs, resulting in exquisite treats that are wonderfully fluffy. Customers rave that the crisp texture of the sliced onions topping the restaurant's large onion takoyaki dumplings is addicting. The restaurant's karaage-style takoyaki dumplings have huge chunks of locally-caught octopus bursting out of them and delight with the fresh, innate chewy texture and flavor of the octopus.

    洲本市と淡路市のかっぱ寿司が2年前に淡路島に初めて同時に進出したようです。まだ新しく、地元でとても人気があるようで、平日午後も大変混んでました。以前の注文皿を新幹線?で席に配送するスタイルが、徳兵衛寿司のようにコンベアに乗って回ってくるスタイルに変わってました。店舗が新しくてもかっぱ寿司はかっぱ寿司の味です。
