They purchase whole Awaji beef cows, so you can dine on the finest marbled meat at a reasonable price. Stone grilled steak is a longtime favorite that sees repeat customers coming from near and far. Their shabu-shabu is superb, featuring thinly sliced marbled Awaji beef boiled with vegetables and dipped in sauce.

    This is a local food restaurant directly managed by the JA National Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives Hyogo. This is a well-known restaurant where you can have set courses of Kobe beef, Tajima beef and seasonal local vegetables. There are three types of courses available such as the “Teppan-yaki” (Japanese cooking prepared on a hot steel plate) course, the “Seiro-mushi” (Bamboo steamer course) course or a “Shabu-shabu” (thinly sliced meat boiled quickly with vegetables and dipped in sauce) course. During the “Teppan-yaki” course, the chef offers to grill directly in front of you—A4 and A5 Kobe beef and Tajima beef mesmerise the world with its rich flavors.

    Pricy and worth it! Very tasty. We had a bottle of wine and it was less than $240 for a really wonderful meal.

Popular dishes on the menu include the kyukyoryuchi (former foreign residence) beef stew made with caramelized onions and fresh pasta, and the colonial tea set with a selection of seasonal hors d’oeuvre and cakes.
