This is a boulangerie in Goko-dori, Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, produced by the chef of a French restaurant. Focusing mainly on hard breads, they also have fluffy rectangular bread, side-dish bread, sandwiches, cakes and a variety of other original offerings. In the joint cafe one can eat the bread or cake bought at the boulangerie, or order from the food menu which includes hamburgers and sandwiches.

"The flagship location of Juchheim, a renowned confectionary shop which has been in business for over 100 years. The first-floor shop sells the company's confections for taking home and is also one of only a very few locations where you can directly purchase Juchheim's ""Meister handmade"" baumkuchen. In the tea salon on the second floor, customers can enjoy a confection or gelato along with a cup of black tea. The restaurant in the basement serves Kobe-style Western dishes and German wines."

Once a special shop run under a membership system and host to prominent figures of various fields, it became open to the public following the Great Hanshin Earthquake. Inside the ivy-wrapped red brick building, the antique furniture gives the place a sophisticated British vibe. Here one can enjoy an elegant hour or two holding one of their prized coffees in hand. A coffee shop on Kobe Motomachi Ichiban Shopping Street. Since its founding in 1960, it has been popular with a wide range of people across the age spectrum. Their ever-popular hot cakes made with house batter are slowly baked on a griddle until a mouthwatering golden brown. Served the old-fashioned way topped with butter and honey, they're carefully prepared one at a time when an order is placed. They go great with the smoothness of the shop's nel drip coffee. Stop in and you may lose track of time.

A tea lounge located inside the ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe hotel. The lounge's black and white decor engenders a high-class atmosphere. The lounge's cakes, handmade by skilled chefs, are not only delicious but also visually stunning and make for excellent snapshots. Most of the lounge's cake menu is changed monthly, a new array of seasonal cakes replacing the old. The lounge's cakes and chocolates are also available for takeout. The lounge also holds a monthly themed dessert buffet event.

Tea room mahisa, which opened in 1987, has consistently given patrons the opportunity to enjoy first-class tea made by adding plenty of milk to strong black tea. Being able to get the full, rough-edged flavor of the tea is the reason why Tea room mahisa has remained so popular. Tea room mahisa is located around four minutes’ walk from JR Settsumotoyama Station and from Hankyu Railway Okamoto Station.

    阪急岡本駅から南に下り徒歩5分ほどで着きます。ティーセットで美味しい紅茶とスコーンを頂きました。店内も落ち着いた雰囲気です。
