Shizuoka Kamo-gun Higashiizucho Naramoto 1271

This tourist facility is located about two minutes on foot from Izu-Atagawa Station, and includes a tea room attached to a studio where visitors can enjoy the experience of creating things. There are four types of craft activities to choose from such as making clear candles, creating items from glass, decorating a music box, and making an herbarium. Even beginners and children can create their own works using sand, shells, glass which can be completed in about 60 minutes. While waiting for your creation to be completed, or before or after the experience, relax in the old house relocated from Niigata that is now used as a cafe. Reservations are not required (however, reservations in advance are accepted if you have decided a date).

大きく立派な門を入ると広い庭園。そして新潟県赤倉の旧家を移築したという古民家が現れます。その中にはカフェと体験工房が。クリアキャンドル、ガラスアートデコオルゴールなど予約不要で体験できる！旅の良い思い出が作れますね。駐車場もあるし安心。私が行った時はあいにくカフェがお休み…次回はぜひお茶したいです。

A small strawberry farm where you can compare two kinds of strawberries. 30-minute all-you-can-eat strawberry picking from mid-December to early May. The garden is temporarily closed when all the ripe strawberries run out, so it is recommended to check the website or Facebook page.

Chuchan Farm is just one minute on foot from the Bokujo Iriguchi bus stop, a 20-minute drive from the Susono Interchange, and only a short distance from Fuji Safari Park and Fuji Museum. It is located at an elevation of 800 meters. In addition to watching sheep and cattle grazing, visitors can enjoy the farm shop for milk, soft ice cream, and even Genghis Khan hotpot stew.

Highlights include the craggy, cliff-dotted coastline, as well as the Irozaki Cape Lighthouse and the crystal clear waters of Hirizo Beach, through which riders can see straight down to the rocky sea bottom. Depending on the weather, the route cruise may travel to the Minokake Boulder on the eastern side of Cape Irozaki instead.

This is a farm located in Naramoto, Higashiizu Town, KamoCounty. This farm grows the two variety of strawberries, Akihimeand Benihoppe. Visitors can pick and eat all they want for 30 minutes while in season, from the end of December through the beginning of May. Between rows that are wide enough for baby carriages and wheelchairs, the high quality cultivation provides for wholesome fruit that never touches soil.

Located on Prefectural Highway 114 in the Inatori district of Higashiizu Town, Kinunokai is a workshop that makes traditional Tsurushi-kazari dolls. The doll-making tradition in Kinunokai dates back to the Edo period. Visitors can view the beautiful display of Hina no Tsurushi-kazari dolls on either side of the Hina-dan (a tiered stand for displaying dolls). This workshop was authorized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as Business innovation which utilizes unique and ingenious pottery kiln method to create original works of pottery inspired by Izu's famous products and scenery. These include their Izu-Shirahama ware (which depicts Izu's famous Shirahama beach), Izu no Sakura to Na no Hana ware (which depicts Izu's famous cherry blossoms and rape blossoms), and Amagi Wasabi ware (which depicts the wasabi grown around Izu's Mt. Amagi). The workshop and its facilities were built by the staff themselves, leaving as many trees standing as possible in order to leverage the natural landscape of Izu Kogen. A one-minute walk from the Risokyo-Higashiguchi Bus Stop, accessible via the Shaboten Park Bus from Izu-Kogen Station on the Izu-Kyuko Line. This hands-on pottery workshop is a part of the Izu-Kogen Experience Village located near the foot hills of Mt. Omuro. They've gained popularity for their reasonable prices. In either their Electric Potter's Wheel course or their Hand Tossed course you can make two different hand sized objects and then choose from over ten different options of glaze. The classes take around one to two hours and same day reservations are available. The completed work will be mailed to the designated address in one and a half to two months.

This strawberry picking farm is located just off of the Kanzanji Smart Interchange on the Tomei Expressway. The farm grows its strawberries utilizing cement retaining walls and the slope of the mountain on which it is located. The farm primarily grows Akihime strawberries, a variety created in Shizuoka whose berries are tender and not very tart. Customers rave that even those who don't like sour flavors can enjoy the farm's delicious, sweet strawberries. In most years, harvest season is from January through early April. The jams by hand on the farm also make delightful souvenirs and gifts.

長良園ですが、根本山のふもとにあります。山の斜面を利用した日当たりのいい立地です。春には、いちご狩り、秋には、ミカン狩りを楽しむ事が出来ます。今年の春は、コロナ自粛ムードでいちご狩りは、早期に終わってしまったようで閑散としていました。残念！
