This vast wasabi farm in Azumino spans a space equal to 11 Tokyo Domes. Entry is free and the farm is open every day year-round. In addition to wasabi fields and a processing plant, visitors can enjoy the tranquil waterside scenery, including a water mill used in a Kurosawa’s film. The farm’s shop sells unique products found nowhere else such as wasabi soft serve ice cream and wasabi-don rice bowls. If traveling by train, a 10-minute taxi ride from Hotaka Station on the JR Oito Line.

This large ropeway, able to carry 100 people, is located at the northern tip of the Yatsugatake mountain range and connects Mt. Kita Yokodake and Mt. Shimagare. It takes about seven minutes to reach Yokodake-Tsuboniwa summit station with an altitude of 2237 meters from the station at the base of the mountain with an altitude of 1771 meters. The magnificent view of the mountains seen from the gondola window is spectacular, and is especially popular among mountaineers.

A station on the Kanden Tunnel Trolleybus line run by Kansai Electric Power Company, it serves as the entrance to the Nagano Prefecture-side of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Inside the three-story station building, there is a ticket office on the first floor, a restaurant on the second, and the platform and observation deck on the third. In 2019, it will cease being a station with the pending elimination of the trolleybus.

There’s a camp site and lodgings on the second floor above a horse barn for a fun experience. Every year is the “Takizawa Ranch Festival,” which includes concerts, bingo, a free market, and more. It’s about 35 minutes from the Sutama Interchange on the Chuo Expressway or 30 minutes from the Kobuchisawa Interchange.

This pleasure boat allows you to enjoy an approximately ten kilometer boat trip from Tenryu-kyo Valley to Karakasa. Boatmen teach the techniques of casting nets and give guide information inside the boat. An orchard standing along Prefectural Route 29 in Kusama, Nakano City. From June to around November, visitors can enjoy picking cherries, peaches, grapes, and apples (when in season). The orchard also has a restaurant which can accommodate groups and which serves chestnut okowa rice, Shinshu beef sukiyaki meals, and other dishes. In the orchard's fast food area, meanwhile, you can eat curry and noodle dishes. The orchard's shop sells farm-fresh produce and an abundant variety of Shinshu souvenirs.

団体で利用し、2階で団体用のメニューで食事をしました。味は当たり障りのないものでしたが、野沢菜が絶妙な塩加減で、とても美味しかったです。

This ropeway travels 2,330 meters between Kanose and Iimori Kogen Stations with a difference in height above sea level of 580 meters, taking 15 minutes each way. Located at around 2,000 meters above sea level in a mountainous area, the service may be suspended depending on circumstances due to changing weather conditions. In the Kozan Botanical Gardens at the summit, you will find lovely flowers including Potentilla fruticose var. mandshurica, Phyllodoce nipponica, clubmoss mountain heather and Rhododendrum dauricum. There is also an observatory restaurant from which you can look at the superb view while enjoying pasta or sweets created by the chef.

国道19号からはなかなか長い道のりで、ロープウェイの駅は山の中腹にあるので、結構登ります。ロープウェイはなかなかの料金ですが、個室で安心かつ気兼ねなく乗れるし、展望台は20度前後の涼しい気温。避暑にはぴったりです。みちすがらもロープウェイの駅にも飲食店はないので、お昼どきは開田高原かどこかで食べてから登りましょう。山上の駅には喫茶店があります。

This tourism farm is located 30 to 60 minutes from various interchanges on the Chuo Expressway, Nagano Expressway, and Joshin-Etsu Expressway in Chiisagata County, Nagano Prefecture. The farm offers activities such as cow milking, catching fish with your bare hands, horseback riding and other animal activities, and sausage and butter making. 子ども向けと聞いていたけど、理系を選んだ後の学年以上向けかと思うくらい内容は高度。ボタンを押したら装置が動く展示が多様にあり、楽しみながら学べます。難しいことが分からなくても、レトロな展示を見るだけでも楽しめます。

A tourist farm which grows blueberries. The farm grows 800 blueberry plants on land as well as 2,000 in pots without the use of agricultural chemicals. The farm offers time unlimited blueberry picking and customers can also gather their harvested blueberries in a provided bag to take home. Blueberry picking is offered from mid-June to mid-October. A space and astronomy activity center. The center's popular domed Globe Theater uses exciting 3D imagery to present the constellations and the night sky over Nobeyama. One show lasts approximately 30 minutes and the theater holds six shows a day. A popular activity in Azumino where you can meander down the Tadegawa River in a boat. The river flows with beautiful spring water and has been selected as one of the most famous rivers in Japan. The aquatic plants quiver in the clear water and fish can be seen swimming below. One of the highlights of the boat trip is the watermills which were the stage for a famous movie. You can enjoy the beauty of nature while paddling away with the other members in the boat. The boat trip lasts for approximately 20 minutes. 水が綺麗で有名な安曇野ですがその中でも透明度が高く水草が美しい犀川をゴムボートでのんびりと下れます。ラフティングといっても決して激しくありませんので小さな子供連れでもきっと楽しめると思います。安曇野には観光スポットが沢山ありますが少し変わったアクティビティとして特に家族連れにお勧めします。

This complex is in Neba Village, Shimoina County, Nagano Prefecture. It features a restaurant, a local specialty market, a multipurpose hall, and more. The restaurant serves Nagano's famous buckwheat soba noodles, tofu steaks, cutlets, and miso-coated dengaku, all made with tofu produced in their own factory. They have accommodation as well, and many tourists visit.

R１５３号線には稲武や浪合に道の駅はありますが、森の駅は他にはありません。しかし森の駅といっても、道の駅と同じように、地域の産物を中心に販売しています。たい焼きやソフトクリーム、そして豆腐等がおいしいですね。時期的にも店内には、飾り雛やお雛様も展示してあり賑やかな様子でした。

Nagano Kamitakai-gun Obusemachi Obuse 2051

A farm which grows cherries, huge Kyoho grapes, and chestnuts. Located not far from Obuse Station, visitors can walk here along a lush, greenery-lined road. The farm's cherry picking, offered from mid-June to mid-July, is particularly popular, and each year during this time many people, including those who have come back here again and again, visit the farm to enjoy this fun and tasty activity. The farm also sells its fruits direct, and its fresh-picked fruits are exceptionally juicy and tasty. When in season, visitors can pick six varieties of cherries; gather chestnuts, a distinctly Obuse-style activity; and pick organic, low-pesticide grapes, and the farm is a popular destination for children and adults alike.

品種は書いてありませんでしたが、木が多く、色々な味のさくらんぼを、食べ比べることができます。30分という時間制限の中でも十分楽しむことができました。

A workshop producing the fine sausages and hams of Shinshu Ham, imbued with the goodness of Nagano's abundant natural environment. A five-minute walk from Karuizawa Station, their items are made with skilled craftsmanship and carefully selected ingredients. By reserving at least a week in advance, you can join a workshop making Kurobuta pork wieners by hand under the guidance of an artisan. Have fun with your family and friends, and when you're done you can eat the wieners you've made on the spot. The cafe restaurant serves super juicy frankfurters along with draft beer.

ソーセージの腸詰体験をしました。大人のグループで参加しましたがとても楽しかったです。小さなお子様連れのご家族もいらっしゃいました。お子様も楽しそうにしていました。出来上がったソーセージは、一部はその場で試食でき、残りは持ち帰りになります。すごく美味しかったです。体験料金もそんなに高くなかったので大変満足しました。

A strawberry farm situated 1,000 meters above sea level a 20-minute drive from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange. The farm raises choice strawberries in greenhouses surrounded by the naturally lush highlands of Karuizawa. In winter, the farm grows some 30 thousand strawberry plants, and in winter and spring visitors can enjoy picking five varieties of strawberries, including Benihoppe and Yayoihime. The farm's clean and tidy greenhouses are kept around 25° C and its strawberries are grown on raised platforms for easy reach, and visitors can enjoy a relaxing time picking strawberries while taking in the vast beauty of Mt. This is an area on a slope altitude of 800–1,000 meters overlooking the Southern Alps (Akaishi Mountains). The beautiful sight of dotted houses and tea fields means it has been designated as one of Japan’s 100 villages, and because it looks like Austria’s Tirol area it is also occasionally called Japan’s Tirol. The Sky Village Viewpoint is maintained by volunteers and is recommended as it offers a wide view over the village’s scenery.
