    This ranch is at the foot of Mt. Kirishima, a little east of Takachiho Farm. It lets you view goats, rabbits, and lots of free range chickens. The animals' feed is a blend of dozens of naturally derived, chemical and antibiotic-free items and they drink local spring water. The ranch's restaurant has an array of fresh egg dishes on the menu, including omelette and Japanese omelette rice. Their eggs prepared sunny-side up or boiled let you taste how great eggs can be. They also sell eggs, sweets, and chicken themed merchandise.

    This fruit farm is located close to the Kobayashi Interchange on the Miyazaki Expressway. The farm grows grapes and Japanese pears on grounds surrounded by lush natural beauty. The fertile soil and extreme temperature differentials between night and day in the Ikoma Highlands are perfectly suited to growing fruit, and this climate is famous for further enhancing the sweetness of fruit. The farm offers fun Japanese pear and grape picking from mid-August through late October. The Ikoma Highland's cosmos field and the Ebino Highland are located nearby, and many visitors enjoy scenic driving through the area stop by here.

    This sightseeing train runs between Miyazaki City and Nichinan City. The special express train connects Miyazaki Station to Nango Station and goes via the Nippo Main Line and Nichinan Line. Operations began in 2009 and the train runs one return trip a day on Saturdays, public holidays and during long holidays such as in the spring, summer and winter vacations. In addition to the service counter in the train, food and drink made from special prefectural products such as mango caramel and ice cream are also available.

In addition, their slim conical shape and glossy red color means they are often used to decorate Western-style confections. The farm grows trees heavy with vivid, sun-yellow Hyuganatsu fruit, a variety of citrus fruit, next to its strawberry greenhouses, and is one of the few places in the prefecture where you can enjoy picking Hyuganatsu.

The farm's adjoining takeout-only shop sells soft serve ice cream made with an abundance of strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, and other seasonal fruits (quantities limited).     The ice-cream was delicious. When we went out to eat it, the owner showed up and took us behind to visit the cows (and a couple of very sweet cats). It was a lovely, short experience.
