    A fun and entertainment-oriented farm which raises flowers and animals. The farm also operates a motorhome campground and camping cottages in July and August, and the conveniences offered here make the farm particularly popular with families. What makes Mother Farm so special is its numerous areas and activities, including a petting zoo, seasonal flowers, fruit picking, flower picking, handicraft classes, and adventure. There’s also shopping—choose from among an abundance of unique Mother Farm souvenirs.

    This ropeway connects Sanroku Station of Futtsu City’s Kanaya with Sancho Station on top of Mt. Nokogiri. It is a four-minute ride, with 15-minute waits between cars, and it operates year-round (though it is closed for inspection for a part of January every year.) You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the area around Mt. Nokogiri from the car. Also, Mt. Nokogiri was selected as one of “Kanto’s Top 100 Fuji Views.” If you make use of the early morning service on New Year’s Day, you can enjoy a great view of the “Red Fuji” sunrise.

    Narita Yume Bokujo is a tourist dairy farm located in Nagi, Narita City. Besides interacting with the animals, there are a wide range of other activities for visitors to enjoy, including Segway rides, tractor-drawn wagon rides, an adventure playground, and a dog run, etc. There is also a campsite with parking for cars, which has saunas, coin-operated showers, etc. At Narita Yume Bokujo’s shop, visitors can buy first-class dairy products, as well as a range of other food products and local specialty gift items.

    This orchard is on Prefectural Route 261 in Mukaikogane, Nagareyama City. Using enzyme cultivation and hardly any chemicals, they grow grapes, pears, three types of kiwis, and more. Visitors can pick their own fruit and dig their own potatoes in the season. They also have a farm stand selling fruit, vegetables, and flowers, as well as a barbecue area.

There's also a restaurant that's a great place to relax while the kids are occupied."

    This tourist farm is in Sodegaura City. They raise about 30 kinds of animals including ostriches, sheep, alpacas, and mini pigs. You can even get up close and feed some of the animals. Their shop offers light meals include healthy ostrich meat, their barbecue facility supplies all you need for a cook-out, and there's a pesticide-free farm where you can pick blueberries, too.

    "This ""Dog and Flower Theme Park"" is in Mobara City. Their grounds include the Roris Garden, Japan's first rose garden designed to be strolled while following the history of roses. They also have dog training classes, trimming facilities, a dog park, and more. Their cafe terrace is a great spot for a break with your pup, and their shop sells dog and flower related merchandise. In season, you can bring your dog along for a barbecue in the cottage area too. "

    "This strawberry farm is in Oi, Kimitsu City. Besides picking strawberry from January to May, you can pick cabbage around the middle of March and poppies from early January. They grow about 10 kinds of strawberries with availability changing depending on the season, including an unusual white variety called ""Awayuki."" The strawberries are grown on raised platforms, so you can pick them while standing."

    Ishii Teruen is a farm that cultivates the pears that Kamagaya is famous for. From late August to early October, visitors can pick various varieties of pears, including Hosui, Nansui, Shinsei, and Shinko. In addition, visitors can pick grapes from mid August to late September. Groups that make reservations can dig for sweet potatoes. It is also possible to buy pears and grapes here.

    "Chikura Orange Center is an orchard that grows Satsuma mandarins, amanatsu, hassaku oranges, kiyomi, yuzu, kumquats, and other citrus fruits. In addition to the ""pick-your-own mandarins"" season, which runs from October to mid February, visitors can enjoy amanatsu and hassaku oranges from February to late April. They can also pick cosmos and narcissus flowers. Chikura Orange Center also serves tea with freshly squeezed lemon to visitors free of charge."

    Choshi Electric Railway runs within the city of Choshi. It was founded in 1923 and runs from Choshi Station to Tokawa Station, with ten intermediate stations. The entire trip takes about 20 minutes. The distinguishing features of this railway are the views of cabbage fields and fishing communities that passengers can see from the window, the retro rolling stock, and the European-style station buildings. At Nakanocho Station, visitors can tour the railyards, and it is possible to rent an entire train for special occasions.

In the garden and indoor barbecue facility, you can taste picked vegetables, and SPF pork from the Hirano Pig Farm and grilled seafood with a reservation. You can also bring your own ingredients. The salad using vegetables grown on the farm and their smoothies are popular menu items.

    Sugahara Glassworks Inc. is a workshop that produces painstakingly handmade glass products. Visitors who make reservations can learn or experience different methods of glassmaking for themselves: marvering, in which 1200°C molten glass is spread over a flat surface with a spatula-like tool; pair marvering, in which two people work together; and blowing, in which the glassmaker blows into a pipe to expand the molten glass. (There is a limit to the number of participants in each course, so reservation is required.) Sugahara Glassworks also has an onsite shop, where nearly all its products are for sale, and a cafe, where visitors can enjoy sweets that are made onsite and served in glassware.

From mid-April to mid-May you can try collecting your own bamboo shoots.

    "This roughly 9,580 square meter farm grows 26 varieties of strawberries including Kanamihime and Tochiotome in their large plastic covered greenhouse. You can try nine kinds during the picking season that lasts from the middle of December to around the beginning of May. They also sell prepared items such as jam, frozen strawberries, and ""Snow Queen"" daifuku sweets made with white strawberries."
