    Tonbori River Cruise is a sightseeing cruise boat which tours the Dotonbori River, one of the famous attractions in Osaka. It departs from Tazaemonbashi Wharf in front of the Don Quijote Dotonbori branch and goes under nine bridges while you see the sights of the Minami area of Osaka. During the tour, there are many good places for commemorative photos such as a gigantic octopus sign as well as a Glico man sign. The light-hearted talk by the guide is also one of the enjoyments. As the short trip requires only about 20 minutes, you can easily board when you have time to spare while sightseeing or on a date. The closest station is Namba Station.

    This is an amphibious bus sightseeing tour that goes around the rivers and city center of the water metropolis, Osaka. It departs from “River Station Hachikenya” near Temmabashi Station and travels overland around famous spots such as the Osaka City Hall, Midosuji, Osaka Prefectural Office, Osaka Castle, and Osaka Mint Bureau. At Sakuranomiya Park, famous as a cherry blossoming spot, the bus driver quickly turns into a boat captain. The moment the bus dynamically plunges into the Okawa River using a slope is impressive. The guide’s entertaining talk introducing the city of Osaka is also enjoyable.

    Its a 5 star tour but let down by Japanese speaking only tour guide. Too bad, because the tour was great, sakura was blooming to the max however they should at least provide on screen translation...

    This theme park in the hills of Kanan-cho is a ten-minute walk from Sakurazaka 1-Chome bus stop on the Kongo Bus. It brings together people, nature and animals in a spacious park with 1,500 animals of 140 different species, with a corner where small children can meet and pet some of them. There is also a dolphin and whale interaction pool with experienced trainers. Besides the animals there are area barbeques that guests are free to use and even cottages where guests can stay the night.

    This public agricultural farm park is in Tondabayashi City and there is a free shuttle bus from Tondabayashi Station that takes about 20 minutes. The park is surrounded by flowers and herbs that change with the season and with so much produce to choose from including grape picking, strawberry picking, and sweet potato digging you can enjoy harvesting as much as you like all year-round. Along with the hilltop strawberry greenhouse, mud land, and the fruit orchards, check out the unique play areas like the adventure fort and field, As well as the rose garden and hands on experience learning hall. After all that, grab a bite to eat at the BBQ house or restaurant or maybe relax on the large field with a bento lunch box. You can also buy local vegetables and fruits from Savor Farm at Niconico Ichiba.

    This tourism farm extends along the north side of the Hanwa Expressway's Kishiwada Service Area. You can enjoy picking fruits such as strawberries and barbecues. Strawberry picking is held from the winter through the spring, and all-you-can-eat melon events are held in the summer. The barbecue facilities are indoors, so you can use them even in rainy weather. You can rent and use equipment such as charcoal and nets, and they are even facilities for babies like a nursing room, making it very family-friendly. The park covers an area about three times the size of the Koshien Stadium, and visitors to the park can enjoy harvesting various fruits and vegetables depending on the season, such as strawberries, oranges, pears, grapes and sweet potatoes. The fruits and vegetables are grown using organic fertilizer, with as little pesticide as possible. The park is also home to a famous cafe, Cave Cafe Kagashi, which makes use of a war-time cave that was used by the army to store medicines. Direct buses are available on Sundays and national holidays from September to November.

    This museum makes use of the vast amounts of clay brought up from the ocean floor during the construction of Kansai Airport to teach people about Naniwazuyaki pottery and the techniques used in its creation. The museum owns the only ascending kiln in Osaka City, and the largest in the Kansai region, which is open to the public to create pottery using Naniwazu clay. (A fee is required for the firing.) The museum offers courses suitable for any level of experience, even for first-time beginners. The electric pottery wheel experience allows you to create drinking cups, for example, and the hand building experience, where you can make your own original pottery in actual pottery classes.

    舞洲の先端部、舞洲ロッジの向かい、夕陽丘の隣りにあるのが大阪陶芸館。埋立地に何でという感じだが、本格的な登り窯もあり、陶芸体験、陶芸教室が開かれていて、陶芸ショップ、カフェもあり、一般の人が自由に休憩できる。 愛好家の人は、わざわざ舞洲まで来て陶芸を楽しむのでしょうね。路線バスはあるので車なしでも行ける場所。

    This is the only village operated ropeway in Japan run by Chihaya Akasaka Village and goes up to Mt Kongo in Chihaya Akasaka Village, Minami Kawachi District. It was opened in 1966 and connects the two stations of Chihaya Station at the foot of the mountain and Mt. Kongo Station on the mountainside. An attraction of the ropeway is the view of the natural scenery such as flowers and trees of Mt. Kongo in the four seasons which makes you forget you are in Osaka. The gondolas on the double-track intersecting ordinary cableway are affectionately named Chihaya and Akasaka after the Chihaya Akasaka Village. The ropeway has a total length of 1,323 meters, a height difference is 267 meters, and the operation time is six minutes.

    This strawberry farm in Izumi City in Osaka is one of the largest strawberry picking farms in the Kansai region. Approximately 46,000 stocks of strawberry plants are grown in five large greenhouses. You can find a wide variety of strawberries grown here including Asuka Ruby, Sagahonoka and Beni Hoppe, and usually, at least two of these varieties are all-you-can-eat. Come with your family and enjoy the great view over Osaka Bay on clear days.
