    A sightseeing cruise boat combined with a stylish cafe. Departing from Nakatottei, the 45-minute long cruise visits the local shipbuilding area, the Kobe Breakwater One East End Light, Kobe Airport, and the Kobe Bridge. The boat's cafe space offers a wide variety of options, from drinks to sweets. There are also programs for children, and, only on Saturdays and Sundays, children can experience what it's like to be a boat captain on a first come, first served basis. Various seasonal cruises are also held, such as a New Year's countdown cruise, and a cruise celebrating the release of the year's beaujulais nouveau.

    A loop line bus which travels around Kobe City. The line's old-fashioned style buses are painted a subdued moss green. The busses travel around notoriously hilly downtown Kobe in a loop taking approximately 60 minutes. The bus fee for one trip is the same no matter where you get on and off. You can also purchase a money saving day pass. The line has 17 stops and links up to such popular sightseeing destinations as Kobe Harborland, the Former Foreign Settlement, the Kitano Ijinkan, Sannomiya Center Gai Shopping Street, the Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway, and Meriken Park.

    A chocolate factory and museum operated by the famous confectionary company Glico located a one-minute walk from the Takatsukadai 1-Chome bus stop. The entrance is a giant Pocky stick and inside visitors can peer through windows and watch snacks like Pocky and Pretz being made. The facility also offers visitors the chance to make Bisco by hand. The factory shop sells exclusive and new products perfect for souvenirs and gifts. Entry requires a reservation made by phone or over the Internet; reservations are accepted up to four months in advance.

    "A tourism-oriented farm located in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture. Visitors can pick strawberries, harvest corn, or gather black soybeans, and each of these farm areas is equipped with a barbecue ground as well. In the fall, the farm offers a ""treasure hunt"" in which participants search for and can take home free of charge expensive, gourmet matsutake mushrooms; the farm also offers a tasty Hyogo-grown Japanese black beef barbecue set which includes Sanda beef, Tajima beef, and Kobe beef. The farm's botan nabe, practically a byword for Fujinobo, is a boar meat hotpot which has been made with choice Sanda edible wild plants, boar meat, and Iwatsu Welsh onions from specially contracted farms since the time of the farm's first owner. This hotpot is only offered in winter (mid-November to mid-April) and requires an advance reservation."

    An activity and tourism-oriented farm located a five-minute drive from the Sanda-Nishi interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway. The farm's spacious grounds encompass a shiitake mushroom picking hill, hydrangea garden, and sweet potato digging field. There's also an insect specimen hall where visitors can see examples of rare and exotic bugs from around the world year-round. One of the farm's biggest draws is that visitors can enjoy seasonal foods and flavors here, such as strawberry picking and sweet potato digging to eat. Visitors can also try making Tamba (Tachikui yaki) ware, a local pottery variety famous since ancient times-pottery making takes around one hour. In addition, there's a decorating only course available.

    A shiitake mushroom farm located a 10-minute drive from the Kobe-Sanda interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. Here year-round visitors can enjoy gathering shiitake mushrooms grown at the foot of Mt. Arima Fuji, as well as barbecuing with choice Japanese black beef and shiitake mushroom rice made with locally grown Sanda rice (the barbecuing area is indoors and is open even on rainy days). There's also rainbow trout and char fishing (September 15 to June 15) and catching ayu by hand (June 16 to September 14). Depending on the time of year, visitors can also enjoy chestnut gathering, rhinoceros and stag beetle collecting, and tasty botan nabe boar meat hotpot.

The farm has fun things to do year-round, and depending on the season visitors can enjoy blueberry picking, strawberry picking, and chestnut gathering. The farm also offers year-round Japanese-style barbecuing with choice Japanese black beef and other select ingredients as well as a special sauces and salt created using a unique method which really brings out the flavor of the food. The barbecue set which includes a mix of choice Japanese black beef round and sirloin is the most popular choice on the farm's barbecue menu.

The farm grows two types of strawberries-""Asuka Ruby"", which have a rich, strong flavor balancing sweetness and tartness; and ""Sachinoka"", a variety with beautiful coloration used for jams. The farm offers strawberry picking from January (reservations can be made up to one week in advance) and also ships strawberries nationwide."

    A horseback riding club located close to Roadside Station Miki in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture. The club is divided into three areas-Equis no Mori, where visitors can meet horses; Eo no Mori, where events and workshops can be held; and Mio no Mori, an industry and culture zone where club activity presentations and exhibitions can be conducted. Numerous horseback riding competitions are held throughout the year in the Equis no Mori area. The club also offers horseback riding for beginners and rope led horseback rides, and visitors can get up close to a horse and even give one a carrot with their bare hands.

    A large culture and recreation facility located a 10-minute drive from the Sanda-nishi interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway where visitors can see, experience, and enjoy Tamba ware, one of Japan's renowned six forms of ancient pottery. Tamba ware is characterized by its simple, un-affectated design and is highly utilitarian, making Tamba ware tableware excellent for everyday use. Some 70 superb examples of ancient Tamba ware created between the distant Kamakura period and the Edo period are displayed in the park's Traditional Learning Hall, as well as new pieces and traditional crafts by modern artisans. The park conducts clay crafting and pottery painting classes, as well. In addition, a wide variety of pottery is on display and offered for sale in the Kamamoto-Yokocho ceramics shop.

The facility was originally built to serve as a rest home for a labor union, but today it is open to the general public. Facilities include a campground, adventure park with two 19 station courses, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool, and visitors can also enjoy cycling and mountain climbing in the area. The facility offers a variety of seasonal events, such as firefly watching and experiencing rural life activities. Visitors can also take in area culture through things like Tamba ware pottery classes.

    This YMCA opened as a youth outdoor educational facility in 1951. You can reach it by getting a bus to the Chojigatsuji stop from the Tozan bus stop on the mountain side of Hankyu Rokko Station. It has accommodation including Western and Japanese-style rooms, a campground with tents for rent, seminar rooms, and a large hall. They also have outdoor programs like wood crafts, nature games, and camp fire building, and they hold school orientations as well. Besides regular set meals, they also serve barbecue and wild boar hot pot.

Their Cheese House Yargoi showcases ways to make cheese tastier still, featuring their own fromage frais and camembert, as well as full cheese courses for you to try. They also offer cheese making seminars, guided farm tours, and workshops and tours for kids. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.

    弓削牧場にあるレストランです。ランチ時に予約して行きました。 木をふんだんに使ったログハウスのようなレストランで、いすも切り株のようでした。 窓からは風景がよく見えました。 食事は、ホエーシチュー、チキンのグリル、チーズ、パンなどがついたセットピザもたのみました。 シチューは少し酸味があり、さらっとしています。野菜もたくさん入っていました。 とてもおいしかったです。 ゆっくり味わいました。

    This rural park with hands-on workshops is in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. You can reach it by taking the Shinki Green Bus from Ikuno Station on the JR Bantan Line and getting off at the Yodel Forest stop. The park has lots of seasonal plants like tulips, cosmos flowers, and sage, as well as animals you can get up close to including alpacas, red kangaroos, snowy owls, and red-and-green macaws. They also have lots of organized activities like pizza and rice flour chiffon making classes, craft workshops where you make plastic accessories and decorate ceramics, horseback riding programs, and more.

    Visited the park in early June. We drove more than 2 hours from Osaka to reach the Park but we only stayed there for less than 60 minutes. We were heartbroken when we saw the dogs who didn't look...

    Take a fishing boat from this port on Sakoshi Bay to go fishing at the best fishing spot or experience teichi-ami fixed net fishing. Their fishing programs also give you the chance to eat your catch with wappa-jiru soup and hama-meshi rice together with your fellow passengers. The season runs between April and October. From November to March they offer all-you-can-eat oysters and the event where visitors can experience oyster shucking. In January and February, you can purchase a whole string of oysters farmed from their oyster rafts (must order in advance). You can take them with you or rent a space to charcoal-grill them on the spot.

    テレビを見ていたら、牡蠣を美味しそうに食べている映像が流れていた。日曜日で混雑するであろうと覚悟を決め、出発。随分と待ったが、新鮮な牡蠣を口に頬張るとミルキーで、磯の味と共に、美味しさで気持ちがやさしくなる。気が向いたら即実行。
