    A fruit farm located inside Kisouma no Sato in Suekawa, Kaidakogen, Kiso Town, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. Cultivating blueberries on its vast grounds, from mid-July, visitors can enjoy blueberry picking; the farm also sells blueberry jam and other products. KAIDA FARM Farm 2 is also located inside the branch of Kisouma no Sato.

    An exciting boat tour which travels from Benten Port on the Tenryu River to Tokimata Port; the six kilometer journey takes around 35 minutes. Riders will enjoy a thrilling time as the small wooden tour boat navigates the rapids, the boatman skillfully overcoming obstacles with his oar to guide the vessel. During the trip, enjoy the scenic natural beauty and curious rock formations such as the “Butt Boulder” and the “Shark Boulder”; the beauty of Garyu-kyo Gorge, part of a prefectural park, will take your breath away. Experience this popular and exhilarating boat tour filled with spraying water, shouts of joy, and the thump of the boatman’s oar. A shuttle bus operates from Tokimata Port to bring you back to Benten Port. Five minutes by car from Ina-Yawata Station.

    An exciting tour which travels around giant Lake Suwa, symbol of the Shinshu region, using an amphibious bus. Departing from Shinshu Suwa Garasu no Sato, the tour visits various scenic areas on and around Lake Suwa, taking approximately 55 minutes and returning to the same location. After a drive along the lakeshore viewing the beautiful scenery stretching into the distance, the bus dives into the lake from a yacht harbor with a splash. The tour is thrilling, filled with spraying water and riders screaming with joy. In addition to the magnificent mountain scenery on the lake, riders can witness scenic views of Takashima Castle from the ground. The tour departure area is 20 minutes by Suwa Swan Bus from Kami-Suwa Station.
  • Fujimidai Kogen Ropeway Heavens Sonohara

    The ropeway connects Fujimidai Kogen at an elevation of 800 meters to a point 1,400 meters high. From there change to the lift to reach the observation deck at an elevation of 1,600 meters. You can see the view as it changes from season to season from the gondola and lift as it passes through the magnificent natural scenery. Take joy in the different seasons with skunk cabbage in spring, carpets of flowers in summer, and the changing colors of the leaves in autumn. In autumn too it’s possible to witness a sea of cloud from the observation deck. And also this place was selected by the Ministry of the Environment as the best place to see the brightest stars. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful starry sky on the night tour.

    This orchard is located in Matsuiko, Komoro City. You’ll find over 20 varieties of apple trees that number over 2,000, and apple picking is available from mid-August until the beginning of December. You can also pick flowers and fruit from early May through late June, and blueberry picking and beetle gathering activities occur from early July until early August. Additionally, from late March through early December, a barbecue area with roofs and partitions is open for use. A restaurant and fishing pond are open during this time as well.

    This farm is located in Rikugo, Ikeda-machi, Kitaazumi County. It is famous for the 70,000 lavender plants on its extensive grounds. Even outside of the lavender season, you can enjoy various flowers all year long such as mountain cherry, rape blossoms and chamomile. In addition to strolling along the walking path and lawn plaza on the farm and events on the outdoor stage, you can also purchase products with lavender and herbs at the shop.

    A farm located at the foot of Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Neko in the Sugadaira Highland in Ueda City. Here visitors can enjoy playing with farm animals and walking in an area surrounded by Japanese white birches and highland scenery. The farm's shop sells fresh milk and soft serve ice cream. The farm also serves as the starting point for trails leading up Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Neko.

    A ceramics class studio located in Hotaka, Azumino City. The studio was opened in 1983 to promote ceramic arts in the area. The studio has a gallery with a standing exhibition of 70 pieces of ancient folk pottery as well as a classroom where people can learn and experience the various processes involved in pottery making, and visitors can come in contact with ceramics here in a variety of ways.

    An oyaki dumpling shop and restaurant located in Takafu, Ogawa Village, Kamiminochi County. The establishment serves oyaki, handmade soba noodles, and seasonal dishes. The establishment also has a Jomon period-style pit dugout dwelling where you can make an oyaki and cook it on the irori sunken hearth, then eat them.

    This ranch is located at the southwestern foot of Mt. Kasa at an elevation of 1,500 meters in Joshin'etsu Kogen National Park in Okuyamada, Takayama Village. It's been operating for over 100 years and over 100 cattle pasture there annually. There's a campground on the premises, and it's also known as a winter sports resort with a 13-kilometer touring course, the longest in Japan. In summer they hold a festival at their outdoor concert hall.

    This tourist information center is on Prefectural Route 251 in Takagi Village, Shimoina County. The village is known for its abundance of fruit, and strawberries in particular. The tourist information and local exchange facility organizes fruit picking and other agricultural activities for visitors. Fruit picking is available whatever the season, including for cherries and apples. You can pick your own strawberries between January and May.

    A moving walkway located in Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai County, Nagano Prefecture which can be used to reach the top of Mt. Yokote in about five minutes. Extending up the mountain near National Route 292, the walkway is 200 meters long and has a difference in elevation of 35 meters. Wild grasses and flowers grow along the walkway and riders can enjoy the picturesque view on their way to the top. Thanks to how easy it makes reaching the top, the walkway is a popular sightseeing destination.

The Venus Line scenic mountain road is located nearby, and the farm is visited by many driving lovers and area mountain climbers.
