    Takizawa Ranch lets visitors experience milking cows, horseback riding, planting vegetables, harvesting, and more. There’s a camp site and lodgings on the second floor above a horse barn for a fun experience. Every year is the “Takizawa Ranch Festival,” which includes concerts, bingo, a free market, and more. It’s about 35 minutes from the Sutama Interchange on the Chuo Expressway or 30 minutes from the Kobuchisawa Interchange.

    八ヶ岳がきれいに見えるのどかな牧場で、牛、羊、にわとり、馬がいました。乗馬ができるようです。ソフトクリームはおいしかったです。

    This tourism farm is located 30 to 60 minutes from various interchanges on the Chuo Expressway, Nagano Expressway, and Joshin-Etsu Expressway in Chiisagata County, Nagano Prefecture. The farm offers activities such as cow milking, catching fish with your bare hands, horseback riding and other animal activities, and sausage and butter making. Visitors can also try driving a tractor or riding a four wheeler. The farm also offers plans and schedules combining a variety of activities. During lunchtime, visitors can enjoy barbecue made with Shinshu beef and other farm fresh cuisine.

    小学生高学年と再訪。目当ては魚のつかみ取り。一度に一匹だけだが楽しいらしい。川の水が冷たいので長靴がお勧め。他を上手く組み合わせれば1日遊べる。

    A strawberry farm situated 1,000 meters above sea level a 20-minute drive from the Usui-Karuizawa Interchange. The farm raises choice strawberries in greenhouses surrounded by the naturally lush highlands of Karuizawa. In winter, the farm grows some 30 thousand strawberry plants, and in winter and spring visitors can enjoy picking five varieties of strawberries, including Benihoppe and Yayoihime. The farm's clean and tidy greenhouses are kept around 25° C and its strawberries are grown on raised platforms for easy reach, and visitors can enjoy a relaxing time picking strawberries while taking in the vast beauty of Mt. Asama. The farm offers 30-minute and 40-minute all-you-can-eat picking courses and a course which allows you to purchase the strawberries you picked by weight to take home.

    今年は、持ち帰り1人1キロか食べ放題30分どちらか選べるそうで、私達はランチ後に行ったので、お持ち帰りにしました。 1キロはイチゴのパックで言ったら、だいたい4パック分ぐらいだと思います。 大きいイチゴを選んで楽しいいちご狩りができました。 食べ放題とは違うハウスで、大きめのがたくさんあり、コスパも良かったと思います。

Here you can go strawberry picking with an advance reservation and eat Akihime strawberries grown hydroponically with Alps snowmelt and soil.     紅ほっぺとアイベリー1月初旬との事もあり、1週間前に予約したら 簡単にできました。 場所は駒ヶ根インターを右折、1分もかからない左手にあります。 お土産店やレストランも同じ敷地内にあり便利です。 駐車場は団体バスやマイカーも20台ぐらい停めれます。 料金は45分で1800円ですが、ホームページに100円の割引券があり、 使用できます。

    About a five-minute drive from Ina Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. A tasty experience-based agricultural park where you can enjoy and learn with your five senses. Occupying about half the site, the Ina Miharashi Strawberry Garden has 19 green houses, and more than 70,000 people visit just to pick strawberries. It is the largest hydroponic strawberry growing facility in the prefecture, where visitors can pick big, sweet strawberry varieties such as Akihime, Nyoho, and Benihoppe standing up without crouching. They also use local wood to make handcrafted items and offer experiences like weaving patterns on fabric using a loom like in the old days and making fruit smoothies and jam. They also have accommodation and a hot spring facility with a great view, making it a nice place to unwind.

In addition to strolling along the walking path and lawn plaza on the farm and events on the outdoor stage, you can also purchase products with lavender and herbs at the shop.

The farm also serves as the starting point for trails leading up Mt. Azumaya and Mt. Neko.

    This ranch is located at the southwestern foot of Mt. Kasa at an elevation of 1,500 meters in Joshin'etsu Kogen National Park in Okuyamada, Takayama Village. It's been operating for over 100 years and over 100 cattle pasture there annually. There's a campground on the premises, and it's also known as a winter sports resort with a 13-kilometer touring course, the longest in Japan. In summer they hold a festival at their outdoor concert hall.

Fruit picking is available whatever the season, including for cherries and apples. You can pick your own strawberries between January and May.
