    This bakery is located along the Daibosatsu Line in the Kyusoku area of Katsunuma-cho, Koshu City. It produces and sells homemade natural yeast made with raisins, Shirakami Kodama yeast collected from the Shirakami Mountain Range, domestically produced wheat flour, and beetroot sugar.

    A bread bakery situated on Prefectural Route 34 in Katsunuma Katsunuma-cho, Koshu City. The shop is famous for its Tsuki no Shizuku, a renowned local Koshu confection whose history dates back over 200 years to the Edo period. Consisting of Koshu grapes grown in Katsunuma coated in a layer of sugar one grape at a time, the shop sells them only for a limited time from September through February the following year.

The kiwi fruit wine, made with real kiwi fruit, has a fruity flavor and is easy to drink, making it popular with women. The Happy Park Cherry Festival is held here in June, and during this time visitors can enjoy a customary cherry pit spitting contest, stage shows, and a special farmers' market sale.

    This venerable Japanese confection shop established in 1903 has continued for four generations since the founder first created Kaidama, a famous candy of Koshu. Their Fujikawa Castelas, a perennial bestseller, are sweet and moist madeleines with a gentle buttery flavor. Their shiomanju buns feature a special shioan (salted sweet red bean paste) filling made with Tokachi azuki beans and Kajikazawa salt wrapped in a covering made from specially-ordered kyo-joyoko fine rice flour and Japanese yam. The buns are made without any preservatives or leavening agents. The shop also sells limited edition seasonal Japanese sweets.

It is located inside a renovated miso brewery built more than 150 years ago where Yorozuya Jozoten once made miso paste and soy sauce. The first floor features a cafe and a shop where visitors can buy exclusive products such as an undiluted daiginjo version of Shunnoten, the brewery's flagship sake, as well as castellas cakes made with sake lees. Sake tastings are available for fee. The ""Roku"" gallery on the second floor holds exhibitions on an irregular basis. Every autumn, the gallery exhibits a collection of the poet Yosano Akiko, who had a connection with the brewery."

    This venerable wine shop is located along National Route 138 near the northwest shore of Lake Yamanaka a short distance south of the carp statue. Established in 1927, it carries more than 200 varieties of Koshu wines, one of the biggest selections in the prefecture. The shop also carries many imported wines. The sight of more than 1,800 bottles that line its shelves is simply stunning. The high-quality wines it offers, which are carefully selected by its sommelier owner, include winners of the Japan Wine Competition. There are also nouveau wines with lower alcohol content as well as limited-issue seasonal wines.

When in the proper season they'll have corn on the cob as well as other vegetables grown by local farmers available for purchase. Being a factory outlet, the company's regular stick cakes, cookies, and other products are also available at reduced prices. Each item is offered at a flat price regardless of the flavor. We recommend their black cheesecakes made with food-grade bamboo charcoal for people who do not like sweets.

They also sell seasonal fruits including peaches, grapes, and blueberries which make perfect souvenirs.

    A cheesecake specialty shop just about one-minutes' drive from the Kobuchizawa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Their popular rich flavored cheesecake is made with fresh milk and eggs from Yatsugatake area ranches. Along with a variety of sweets made with cheeses they also sell the Italian cheese Caciocavallo as well as home-made cheeses and local wines. They also have a wide variety of fruit related products allowing you to choose a souvenir that fits any scene. In their dining area they serve the local Yamanashi specialty Hoto noodle soup.
