In the tourist facilities on the first floor of the “Awaodori Kaikan” located at the foot of Mt. Bizan, the shop ‘Arudeyo’ meaning there is in the dialect of Tokushima is within the complex. There are a variety of souvenirs popular with tourists, such as foods made with Naruto Wakame seaweed, sudachi citrus, and Naruto Kintoki kidney bean and Tokushima specialty food and sweets, traditional crafts including Otaniyaki ceramics and Awa indigo dyed goods available in the shop. Tourist information and craft exhibitions are also held. The nearest station is Tokushima Station.

The farmer’s market, which is stocked with fresh local fruits and vegetables, is also popular. Other facilities include an udon shop offering authentic handmade Sanuki udon noodles and a café offering items made with locally-grown ingredients.

道路沿いにある大きな道の駅だったので寄ってみました。駐車場も広く、建物も大きく立派な道の駅だと思ったら、道の駅ではないのですね。産直市とレストランがあり、レストランの方が道の駅のようです。こちらの産直市は…正直高くて買えません。野菜類はまあいいのですが、お惣菜がびっくりするほど高くて。まあ鮎など川魚をつかった寿司など美味しそうではありましたが。

Kazurabashi Yumebutai located near Kazura Bridge in Iya, a famous sightseeing place in Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture is a tourist facility. You can access Kazura Bridge from the large parking area by walking through the facility. The product center has a range of Iya region and specialty Tokushima products including Iya soba noodles, konnyaku (jelly-like food), sudachi citrus vinegar and creeping plant crafts. Kazurabashitei, a restaurant where you can enjoy dishes using local ingredients is popular for lunch before or after sightseeing. Salt-grilled sweetfish and amago trout sold in the food section are popular as a walking-and-eating gourmet item.

This natural sundries shop offers a large range of chic sundries. Visitors can also try marine crafts (crafting items with seashells and other things from the ocean) at a beach house on Oge Island, Naruto City. Participants can craft one of more than 10 items including picture frames, wreathes, aroma gel candles, phone straps, and more. It is possible to participate without a reservation as long as there is a vacancy and a staff member is available. However, we recommend making reservations as the establishment is often crowded on weekends and during summer and other long vacations.

This kamaboko (a type of processed seafood) shop founded in 1910 carries a full range of popular products. They are best known for their high-grade kamaboko, which are carefully crafted one at a time with the best ingredients. Fine adjustments are made to the kamaboko to match the temperature and weather that day. Their take chikuwa, a local variant of chikuwa fish cake served on a bamboo stick, a wide variety of fried kamaboko, and fish katsu, a breaded and fried fish cake, have high reputation. Their fish katsu has even been selected by ANA for meal services on international flights.

This shop and restaurant located just in front of the Onaruto Bridge and the Naruto Strait whirlpools offers delicious food and souvenirs from Tokushima, Naruto, and Setouchi. It offers set meals and seasonal items made with fresh seafood, Horakuyaki (a local Ehime dish of seafood steamed in an earthenware pan), tai ikezukuri (red snapper sashimi prepared alive) served on a boat-shaped dish, and more. We recommend making reservations for meals. It also carries a full range of souvenirs made from Naruto wakame, a local brand of brown edible seaweed notable for its thickness and its chewy texture.

This fish market operated by a fisheries cooperative offers local fish caught in the waters off Kitanada, Naruto City, processed seafood, souvenirs, and other products. Located next to Oura Fishing Port, the market is equipped with a large parking lot, making it an easy place to stop by while on a trip. The cooperative's recommendations are Naruto Kitanada Beppintai, a local brand of wild-caught sea bream with fixed net, Sudachiburi, a brand of farmed Japanese amberjack, and Naruto Wakame, the local brand of farmed wakame seaweed. Other offerings include dried seafood prepared by fishermen as well as local vegetables such as Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes. The attached Gyokyo Shokudo Uzushio restaurant serves fishermen's cuisine such as rice bowls made with fresh seafood.

Toyota Shoten is a shop that sells a wide range of delicious local products from Tokushima Prefecture, including full-bodied Naruto Wakame seaweed and sweet-tasting Naruto Kintoki sweet potatoes. The hand-made dried fish, which is produced in-house, is especially popular. It is made using fish caught locally, which have developed particularly lithe bodies as a result of having to swim in the fierce Naruto whirlpools; each fish is prepared and dried with painstaking attention to detail. Besides sea-bream, barracuda, horse mackerel, chub mackerel and golden cuttlefish, Toyota Shoten also sells dried fish made from a variety of other seasonal fish species. Eat-in service is available; visitors can ask to have fish that they have just purchased in the shop cooked for them on the premises.

Heading along the Yoshino River from the Tokushima Expressway Aizumi Interchange you’ll find Ai Yashiki Okumura. Aizumi is an indigo town known by the name “Japan Blue.” Indigo dyed items made by town artisans like bags, hats, parasols, and tapestries are sold here and they regularly hold exhibitions of the artisans’ work. Next door is Aizumicho Historical Museum, which occupies the remodeled residence of the Okumura merchant family originally built around 1808. They also hold indigo workshops where you can make original dyed items.

"This Japanese / Western confectionery store is located in the basement of the Clement Plaza annexed to JR Tokushima Station. It is famous for its sweet potato confectionery, made using Kintoki sweet potato, a specialty of Tokushima. The mild, sweet tasting potato sweets are popular as a take home gift from the area. Due to its popularity, it was recognized as an ""Awa specialty"", and has placed first place in the 25th National Confectionery Exposition. Also popular with tourists is the rare cheese potato and Awa-no-karinto (deep-fried sweet potato). The shop also sells pound cakes and roll cakes that are Halal certified."

The Hallelujah Sweets Kitchen, known for its Tokushima Prefecture specialty and Kintoki sweet potato confections, is run by the confectionery company Hallelujah. Confectionery production can be observed through a glass adjoining the factory to the shop. You can enjoy freshly made sweets at the Blue Note Cafe or join in a sweets making workshop (reservations needed), popular with families.

空港近くにあり、ツアー最後のお立ち寄り場所です。工場脇の店には鳴門金時を使った饅頭などが沢山並んでおり、試食もできました。無料で工場見学も出来るようです。金長饅頭など、お土産に良さそうな菓子が沢山あり、割引券もくれました。
