    A shopping facility oriented toward cyclists in Onomichi, the starting point of the Shimanami Kaido Expressway on the Honshu side. Standing in a fresh and airy area right in front of the Onomichi Channel, the fashionable building is designed to be a “tiny town within a town.” The facility is filled with shops and other establishments offering the charms of the local area, including a hotel where you can bring your bike into your guest room, a superb bakery, café, restaurant serving grilled dishes made with Setouchi ingredients, and Setouchi-themed lifestyle shops. The nearest station is Onomichi Station.

    My favorite hotel when I travel to this area. Big, Modern and comfortable rooms. All kind amenities available. Good variety for breakfast. Nice coffee! Great sightseeing from the terrace to the port...

The building spans four floors above ground and one basement level, and on the first and second floors you’ll find a variety of stores including food, home goods, and the Hiroshima T-SITE bookstore. Events are also occasionally held on site.

    お洒落なショッピングセンターです。蔦屋が入ってました。スーパーはゆめタウンです。フードコートも店が豊富で楽しめました。

This specialty shopping area is attached to the NTT Cred Motomachi Building and focuses on ladies’ fashion while also having a wide variety of unique general goods shops. In the restaurant areas on the B1F and 8F, you can enjoy foods from a variety of countries including Indian and Italian cuisines.

    Nice building, major brands, big shopping center, but not the reason why we come to Japan as we can find all these back home. Took a half hour walk and went off.

    This department store stands in front of the Kamiyacho-nishi streetcar stop a 15-minute tram ride from Hiroshima Station. One of Hiroshima’s leading department stores, the facility delivers cutting-edge trends and authentic quality. The department store consists of a main building with 10 aboveground floors and a new building with 11 aboveground floors, and the two buildings are joined by passageways on floors one, three, and six. The entire third floor of the main building is a bus center where you can catch busses which run in the city, highway busses which connect to other municipalities, and airport limousine busses.

    電停やアストラムラインからの利用も便利で店内は賑わっていました。一般的な百貨店でもあり観光ついでに利用する程ではありませんでしたが、3Fエリアにはバスターミナルが設置されており各方面との行き来の間に利用するにも便利でした。

Mall highlights include its open and airy 10-meter-high ceilings, information desk housed in a huge industrial beer still, and a real steam locomotive on display on the grounds.

    A shopping mall located in Kamiya-cho in the heart of Hiroshima City. A well-known Hiroshima destination, the exterior of the building bears a design modeled after the scales of a carp. Mall tenants include a variety of fashionable apparel shops with a focus on women's clothing; a wide variety of restaurants, from Western fare to restaurant's serving Setouchi cuisine; as well as boutiques, bookstores, and even a comprehensive medical center. The medical center is conveniently open even on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. The Sogo Hiroshima Store operates on floors B1, 2, 10, and the roof. There's also a bus terminal on the third floor, making access highly convenient.

    This is a department store opened in 1973 in Naka District of Hiroshima City in Hiroshima Prefecture. This store has assembled from its first floor up to the eighth floor, a menagerie of fine quality shops selling garments, cosmetics, household items, foods and more. The underground level floor offers many food items recommended as Hiroshima souvenirs, such as the conger eel and rice box by Ueno, and the Iro-iro by Shungetsu Kagura for its tasty monaka (bean-jam-filled wafers) decorated with the image of Hiroshima in five colors. In the social events hall various souvenir exhibits or cultural exhibitions are hosted.

    A shop specializing in Miyajima shakushi (shamoji—rice scoops) located in Miyajima Town, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Based on an association with the phrase “meshitoru,” which can mean “to scoop up rice” or “to seize,” Miyajima shakushi are viewed as lucky talismans which aid in achieving victory and better fortunes. Miyajima shakushi began being made as souvenirs for visitors to Itsukushima Shrine at the end of the 18th century based on the teachings of an ascetic monk. This shop carries a wide variety of shakushi, from ones meant for actual use to decorative shakushi, shakushi with people’s names on them, and shakushi which can be used as a post card. Customers can also special order their name imprinted on a shakushi.

    Famous for its sea bream fishing nets, Tomonoura in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture is where you can find Tomo Higoya, a shop which specializes in sea bream miso. The shop opened in 2013 in an old Edo period merchant house. The sea bream miso is a local traditional dish made by simmering sea bream from Setouchi with locally produced miso and mirin, sake, and soy sauce, etc. The smell of Japanese peppers in the miso arouses a taste that can be enjoyed in various ways such as with rice, or eaten together with a glass of sake, or with ochazuke (boiled rice with tea). They have three kinds of flavors, red, white and sesame. Other things the shop sells include rolled sushi with sea bream miso and laver boiled in soy sauce.

    建物は江戸時代から続いているそうです。鯛味噌が有名です。イートインもできますし、手土産としても利用できます。

    The flagship bakery of the Andersen Group was founded in 1967 along Hondori in Naka-ku in the city of Hiroshima. Due to the replacement of the Hondori building, the bakery was moved in 2016 and is currently operating in a building in Kamiya-cho. The first floor is devoted to bread baked in stone ovens, Danish pastries, and other authentic European baked goods, in addition to a delicatessen and sells things such as wine and flowers. The cafe on the second floor sells mainly sandwich menus for breakfast and freshly baked bread for lunches. In the evening, customers can enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner featuring a wide variety of dishes.

The rich fragrance and elegant taste of the butter and the moist texture is appealing and it has been a popular item for many years. Not only is the cake favored as a snack, it is a staple gift and souvenir from Hiroshima. The store closes as soon as the cake is sold out.

There is more than meets the eye awaiting any Hiroshima-bound traveler. Kicking off in Hiroshima city, the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien Garden offer a couple of days of exploring; however, the real beauty lies along the southern coast of the prefecture. There, a series of islands spreads across the Seto Inland Sea: from the mysterious sea-submerged Great Torii Gate at Miyajima Island to the first half of the islands that connect Honshu to Shikoku via six spectacular suspension bridges.
