    A cable car installed along the slope of Mt. Sarakura in Yahata (Yawata)-higashi Ward, Kitakyushu City. It covers the distance of 1.1 kilometers with elevation gain of 440 meters. The car's large glass windows and ceiling give riders a spectacular view of the seasonal scenery outside. It's open also in the evening in winter, so riders during this time can enjoy decorative seasonal lighting. The cable car is often used by locals and tourists alike.

    "A karst plateau designated Kitakyushu Quasi-National Park and located in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, the area is considered one of the three great karst plateaus of Japan. There are many distinctive limestone rock formations in the area such as ""Lion Rock"" and ""Kiss Rock,"" as well as limestone caverns in which it is popular to go cave exploring. At the popular Hiraodai Countryside Park, visitors can try making soba noodles and ceramics."

    굉장히 넓게 조성된 공원입니다. 웅대하고 아름다운 광경이 눈앞에 펼치집니다. 특히 양떼처럼 보이는 羊群原이라는 곳이 인상적입니다. 놀이기구도 있어 아이와 함께라는 즐거운 시간을 보낼수 있습니다. 주말에만 운영되는 열차(100엔)도 아이들에겐 즐거움입니다. 입장료는 무료이며, 주차비가 300엔 입니다.

    A public ferry that operates out of Kitakyushu City. The ferry takes around three minutes to make the trip from Kitatorihata-machi, Tobata Ward to Honmachi, Wakamatsu Ward across Dokai Bay and from the ship you can enjoy an amazing view of Wakato Ohashi Bridge from up close. You can also board chartered cruises (with reservation) to enjoy a more relaxed view of the scenery including their Evening Factory Appreciation Cruise.

    If you go to Wakamatsu by JR train, you have to transfer at Orio, and it is a big detour. But there is a ferry service between Tobata and Wakamatsu. This shortcut is very convenient and cheap. One...
