    A bread bakery in Sapporo's Chuo Ward. Standing along Nishitonden Dori, this is Shigepain's second location. Interestingly, Yoru no Shigepain is open from 16:00 to 4:00 the following day. This popular establishment is famous for the unique names it gives to its products, such as the Kamayatsu ham and cheese croque-monsieur, or the hearty Taitoku breaded cutlet sandwich. All of the bread names are derived from the names of customers and the ideas for the recipes was provided by customers as well. There are request sheets for customers at the front of the shop.

    This bakery shop in Sapporo opened in 2012, and is run by the grand chef Katsuei Shiga, from Signifiant Signifie, a healthy bakery. It has developed its own bread that uses only 100% Hokkaido wheat and other local products from Hokkaido. They have a wide range of baked goods characteristic to each branch, including hard, sweet and dinner breads. At the main store, their Pain Au Vin is sold only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and uses plenty of figs, cranberries, pistachios and walnuts. The extravagant breads that are like candy go perfectly with coffee or wine.

    A sweets shop owned and operated by Machimura Farm located on the first floor of the Odori Bisse shopping mall. The shop carries a wide selection of sweets made with milk and dairy products from Machimura Farm, a company founded over 100 years ago. Visitors to this location near Odori Park are particularly recommended to try the shop's fluffy, chewy donuts. Made with an abundance of natural yeast and farm-fresh milk, these donuts have that simple yet delicious flavor only homemade donuts can produce. The strawberry milk donuts, topped with strawberry chocolate, and the cheese donuts, topped with a slice of Gouda cheese, are only sold at this location. You can also buy Machimura Farm milk, yogurt, butter, and cheese here.

    A nice slow ride with great views of Sapporo for only 600 Yen. We went during the snow festival and were surprised no other people on the ride. Easy to get to with friendly staff and worth the visit.

    札幌の中心街、大通地区に三越はあります。私たちが宿泊していたホテルに近かったので、滞在中、何度も三越の前を通ったり、館内で買い物したりしました。 私たちが札幌に滞在していたのは１２月。大通公園では、ホワイトイルミネーションが開催されていました。この時期は、三越前のライオン像も、クリスマスバージョンでした。赤と白のサンタクロースの衣装をまとっていましたよ。
