The 900 meter long street is divided into seven blocks, with about 200 shops. Since this is a covered arcade, you can shop at ease no matter the weather, making it a very popular destination.

    A souvenir shop located in Tanukikoji 4-chome Shopping Street in the center of Sapporo. Here you can find many original products only sold here in Kobushiya, as well as popular confectionery such as Shiroi Koibito, Rokkatei, and Royce’. They have a wide range of products on sale, including sea related products, Hokkaido sake, and the Beware of Bears range of goods. You’ll never tire of looking at what they’ve got on sale! The Shiroi Koibito confection, originated in 1976, is made with white chocolate sandwiched between soft Langue de Chat cookies and is as popular as ever.

    A cheesecake shop identifiable by its regal exterior. The shop has continued to make high quality cheesecakes whose superior flavor is revealed in their simplicity since it opened in 1993. The shop's most popular product is its rich and creamy Kase cheesecake. This vaunted gem has a smooth texture and the faintest citrus aroma. Made according to the same recipe as when the restaurant was founded, customers can buy by the slice or purchase a whole cake. The shop carries over 15 varieties of cakes, standard, including no-bake varieties which have even strong fruit juice and citrus notes, baked cheesecakes which go great with wine, and cheesecakes combined with whipped cream layers.

    This is the main store of a long-established confectionary maker “Senshuan” founded in 1921, located in Chuo-ku, Sapporo City, Hokkaido. The store’s factory produces about 180 kinds of confectionary annually maintaining the original “handmade” manufacturing methods. The shop sells a variety of products including their well-known confectionery “North Man” which is Hokkaido grown sweet red bean wrapped in pastry. In the coffee shop on site visitors can enjoy coffee and sweets, as well as special soft ice cream.

    A bread bakery in Sapporo's Chuo Ward. Standing along Nishitonden Dori, this is Shigepain's second location. Interestingly, Yoru no Shigepain is open from 16:00 to 4:00 the following day. This popular establishment is famous for the unique names it gives to its products, such as the Kamayatsu ham and cheese croque-monsieur, or the hearty Taitoku breaded cutlet sandwich. All of the bread names are derived from the names of customers and the ideas for the recipes was provided by customers as well. There are request sheets for customers at the front of the shop.

    A nice slow ride with great views of Sapporo for only 600 Yen. We went during the snow festival and were surprised no other people on the ride. Easy to get to with friendly staff and worth the visit.

    삿포로 여행하고 쇼핑은 돈키에서 몰아서 했음. 삿포로 볼거리가 많아서 쇼핑에 시간 많이 쓰고 싶지 않아서 돈키에서 몰아서?? 쇼핑했는데 완전 정답이었음! 없는게 없는 ㅎㅎㅎ

    Very good sandwiches at very reasonable prices. This shop is super popular. There was a line out of the door when we arrived at 7:30 AM on a Saturday.
