- Kagoshima Minamikyushu-shi Chirancho Naga Sato 3319-2
- This tourist farm is located 40 minutes from Kagoshima City and 15 minutes from the Chiran Interchange on the Ibusuki Skyline via Prefectural Route 23. Here visitors can enjoy picking ripe strawberries grown with a focus on safety and health, as well as on taste over size. The farm also grows its strawberries in greenhouses, ensuring you can have fun going strawberry picking even on rainy days. In addition, you can buy the strawberries you pick by volume to take home. The farm also offers fun activities in which you can use the fresh strawberries you just picked to make strawberry daifuku rice cakes, or strawberry jam (separate fee and advance reservation required).

- Japan’s only breeding farm specializing in seahorses open to the public. The facility breeds seahorses with the aim of preserving the ocean environment and here visitors can see seahorses swimming idly in large tanks. Seahorses are also seen as symbols of luck with love and marriage, marital harmony, and easy childbirth, and the facility sells relevant charms. The facility was also shown in a car commercial in 2016.

- This herb plantation, Japan's first, was established in 1941. Located in the foothills of Mt. Kaimon, it grows dozens of varieties of herbs including some 10,000 Hosho camphor trees. The Hosho essential oil for which the plantation is best known is extracted from the leaves of a subvariety of camphor tree with strong sedative effects. During its heyday, the plant was grown all over the Nansatsu region, which is said to have produced enough leaves to extract five tons of essential oil. The oil is popular for its refreshingly sweet forest scent. The plantation features a shop that sells herbal teas, fragrances, and other items as well as a cafe that serves seasonal herbal teas.

- This fruit farm is located next to Flower Park Kagoshima in the foothills of Mt. Kaimon. The farm grows Shiawase mangoes, a gift of the sun worthy of the title of the king of fruits. Shiawase mangoes are characterized by their sweet scent and rich flavor. This great fruit is grown in soil carefully cultivated using primarily organic fertilizer, assuring that it is both delicious and healthy. Visitors can purchase products such as assortments of fully-ripened mango, mango jellies, Mango Forest jams, and other products at the farm's shop. There is also a cafe space where visitors can enjoy sweets made with dragon fruit, passion fruit, and other fruits.

- This agriculture-themed hands-on educational facility adjoins Agriland Ei an 11-minute drive from the Ei Interchange on the Ibusuki Skyline. Via a 3D theater and exhibits, visitors can learn about agriculture practiced in the Nansatsu area. Visitors can also take part in activities such as a 30-minute hand-rubbed tea activity in which you make your own original tea using a traditional hand-rubbing process under the guidance of a Japanese tea instructor, and an activity which teaches you how to properly make delicious Japanese tea. There's also an adjoining cafe where you can enjoy a green tea set which comes with a dessert and green tea from Ei.

Kagoshima Areas
Over 100 active volcanoes across Kagoshima make it one of the Japan's most exciting prefectures. The prefectural capital, Kagoshima city, looks out to one of the prefecture’s most spectacular volcanoes, Sakurajima, an island of its own that can be visited and seen close up or admired from afar, with the promise of breathtaking sunsets complete with frequent puffs of smoke and ash. Down the Satsuma Peninsula, the most southerly part of mainland Japan, waterfalls, sand onsen, and fascinating history await, while Kagoshima's abundance of satsuma imo (sweet potato) provide a wholesome snack as well as one of Japan's favourite drinks - shochu.
