The popular and hearty Sasagawa Nagare Onigiri Set comes with onigiri rice balls made with Niigata-grown Koshihikari rice and salt from the Sasagawa Nagare coast, sun dried local fish, and seasonal sides. Diners are recommended to eat on the second floor where they can enjoy their meal along with a view of fish being dried in the area. The establishment also serves rich, cream Iwagaki oysters and plump broiled squid.

    This long-standing Japanese kappo cuisine restaurant has been in business for over 180 years, since the late Edo period. Here you can enjoy the bounties of Murakami’s land and sea, including salmon and Murakami beef. Both the lunch and dinner menu consist exclusively of course meals. The full salmon course and toubanyaki Murakami beef course each come with over 10 dishes. The restaurant is reservation-only, with the exact contents of your meal being determined based on your preferences and budget. The establishment is replete with tatami mat rooms of varying sizes and can accommodate everything from individual diners to large groups and can be used for engagement ceremonies, Buddhist memorials, and all manner of engagements. The restaurant’s stately Japanese building bears walls and ceilings crafted by master artisans, and windows made with old glass, and the structure has been registered a National Tangible Cultural Property.

It is a well known restaurant loved not only be tourists but by the locals too. The restaurant serves set meals, rice bowls and individual dishes where guests can enjoy the local delights from both land and sea such as their daamata bowl topped with plenty of vivid red and flavorsome Murakami beef and fresh seafood. In the autumn guests can enjoy a menu full of Murakami specialties, salmon and salmon roe. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with seating at the counter or on the raised tatami-floor. It’s the kind of restaurant where one could easily go by themselves and not feel out of place.

    This long-established Kappo restaurant is located in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. This famous restaurant serves Murakami specialty salmon and Murakami beef dishes. It is a perfectly Japanese-style building, with counter seats, slightly elevated seating, tatami flooring and an area for dinner parties. The restaurant serves a lunchtime salmon mini course, which is available all year-round, and allows customers to enjoy around five different salmon meals that have a history in Murakami dating back a thousand years. In the Autumn, there is a luxurious full course meal, which includes sets of sashimi and Hirako (fish roe). The Murakami Beef Amiyaki (grilling on wire net) Teishoku set meal, with seasonal side dishes, is also very popular.

It offers soba noodles, salmon dishes such as a special harakodon as well as rice bowls and set meals using local seafood and Murakami beef. It also offers full-course meals in the evening.

    日曜日の利用だったので、予約をしていきました。2回目の利用です。 受付け、オーダー、会計のスタッフは皆、ソフトな対応が気持ちよかったです はらこ丼を食べましたが、とても美味しく、満足です。 ソフトは北海道ソフトと書いてありましたが、滑らかででかつクリームっぽく濃厚でした。

    This restaurant is about a 10-minute drive from the Murakami-Senami Hot Spring Interchange. It's on the second floor of the Salmon House salmon workshop next to the Iyoboya Salmon Museum. Seeing as Murakami is a salmon village here you can enjoy local cuisine made with salmon. Their menu is full of popular items including the Harako Donburi rice bowl with soy sauce salmon eggs over rice, the Salmon Takikomigohan rice dish with crumbled salmon mixed with rice, and the steamed salmon which serves soy sauce salmon eggs over a large slice of fish. All of the salmon offered as meals can also be purchased at the shop on the first floor.

    イヨボヤ会館に隣接する土産物店の2階にあるレストランです。新潟のＢ級グルメたれカツ丼の鮭版である鮭のタレカツ丼をいただきました。
