Perfect place for a leisurely walk or a romantic sunset dinner. There are many charming cafes and restaurants along the walkway with a great view of the sea. Wish I had more time to stay.

- This is a large shopping mall in Mori Town, Nagasaki City. In addition to shops and restaurants, there is a sports gym on the fourth floor and TOHO cinema with nine screens on the sixth floor. The highest point of the Ferris wheel, which is a symbol of the mall, is about 70 meters above the ground and the time it takes to go around is 10 minutes and 51 seconds. A nursing room, and baby strollers are available. It is a three-minute walk from Urakami Station. The mall has a bus terminal adjacent meaning bus access is easy.

グラバー園に向かう急な坂、お店のマスコットに引かれる。食べ歩きが出来る角煮饅頭を、一つ注文した。熱い熱いと、若い店員が脅すように注意を促すが、ええ年して熱がらないと思いきや、ダチョウ倶楽部張りのリアクションとる熱さに驚いた。でも、美味しかった‼️

大浦天主堂に近いお土産屋さんです。2階では食事もできるようですが、そちらには立ち寄ってはいません。広い開放的な店内で、見て回りやすかったです。さすがにカステラの品揃えがよかったのはいかにも長崎らしい感じですよね。

長崎駅とその周辺は今、新幹線が開業したばかりで再開発の工事が盛んにおこなわれていました。新幹線の開業の前にはJR長崎駅が完成していて、駅ビル内の改札前に「長崎街道かもめ市場」がありました。 もちろんこちらもできて間もないので、館内全体がきれいです。お土産店や飲食店などがたくさん入っていました。特におみやげは、こちらの店舗を回ると長崎名物が全部そろうほどの品ぞろえですよ。

- A castella (sponge cake) store located at the Megane-bashi (Spectacles Bridge), which is also a tourist attraction. The cake made using the finest ingredients with a ratio of five egg yolks and three egg whites is also offered to the Imperial family. Made with just eggs, flour, sugar, and starch syrup, the shop’s simple and delicate castella are so popular they have become a staple Nagasaki souvenir. 長崎といえばカステラ！文明堂と福砂屋につぐ有名店がこちら松翁軒。1681年創業の老舗です。 2階にある喫茶は雰囲気があって良さそうでしたが、夕方5時迄で残念ながら入れませんでした。 お土産に買ったカステラはパッケージが可愛らしく、5切れで600円台とお高くもなく、しっとりと濃い味わい、満足でした。 長崎県内か博多駅でしか買えません。よいお土産です。
