This rural park with hands-on workshops is in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. You can reach it by taking the Shinki Green Bus from Ikuno Station on the JR Bantan Line and getting off at the Yodel Forest stop. The park has lots of seasonal plants like tulips, cosmos flowers, and sage, as well as animals you can get up close to including alpacas, red kangaroos, snowy owls, and red-and-green macaws. They also have lots of organized activities like pizza and rice flour chiffon making classes, craft workshops where you make plastic accessories and decorate ceramics, horseback riding programs, and more.

"This hands-on nature farm park is located about a 15-minute drive from the Takino-Yashiro Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. Visitors can enjoy activities such as interacting with cute animals and harvesting fruits and nuts in the farm's vast natural setting. From winter to spring it is possible to pick and eat the farm's sweet and tangy strawberries. In the fall, visitors can collect and eat Ginyose chestnuts, which are worthy of their nickname ""the Jewel of the Mountains."" It is also possible to see owls, prairie dogs, and other animals at the tree houses located just inside the park's entrance. The quiet tree houses offer a sweeping view of the entire farm."

The orchard's trees bear fruit depending on variety from summer all the way through autumn and early winter, and here you can enjoy 120-minute all-you-can-eat apple picking. Varieties such as Jonagold, Orin, and Fuji come into season in October. The orchard also makes apple ice cream using just milk and apples, giving it a rich, highly aromatic, and refreshing flavor. This ice cream is the perfect treat to enjoy after going apple picking or after hiking around Harafudo Falls.
