"This Korean restaurant is a hideaway in Shin-Okubo, and its specialty is ""raw samgyopsal"" made from fresh pork. In particular, the ""Hachinos Samgyopsal"" (1,380 yen per person), which is finely sliced like a hachinos, is grilled in a special pan to make the outside crispy and the inside moist. The lunch menu (1,380 yen) includes a Korean buffet, and the restaurant is decorated with items imported from Korea."

Silk Road Tarim is the only restaurant in Tokyo that specializes in Uighur cuisine. Each dish is prepared with care and imbued with flavors reminiscent of the Silk Road and unique to Uighur cuisine. Many of the dishes feature healthy, low-fat lamb, and diners can also enjoy Uighur-style pilaf polo. The menu includes salads, noodles, kebabs, rice dishes, dumplings, and desserts, and there are also prix fixe dinners containing several traditional dishes.

For lunch, the restaurant serves a combo meal with your choice of two out of six varieties of small dishes and noodles, including tom yum goong noodles. You can also order extra-large portions and second helpings of noodles. In addition, the restaurant offers a monthly-changing selection of reasonably priced dishes. The restaurant accepts reservations for parties and other in-restaurant events over the phone.

A three-minute walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station. The Southeast Asian cuisine restaurant can be reached by taking the station's North Exit, going past the intersection in front of the station, and taking the next left. The restaurant's signature dish is its Hainanese chicken rice, which comes with your choice of one of three sauces. You can also get a version which comes with fried instead of steamed chicken. You can also enjoy a variety of other dishes that are at once familiar and exotic, such as curry rice, congee, and fried bread. The establishment also serves special dishes primarily on Saturdays and Sundays such as laksa spicy noodle soup and bak kut the pork ribs in broth. Note that the restaurant closes when its supplies run out.
