    This famous yakiniku barbecue house offers carefully selected, reasonably priced Japanese black beef from their own ranch. Their popular all-you-can-eat menu lets you dine on the tender marbled beef to your heart's content. People even come from far away to eat there, to the point that they sometimes have a line waiting for them to open.

    肉もおいしいですが（特選ランチを頂きました。）食べ放題の牛丼とカレーがおいしいことおいしいこと。何回でも行きたいです。

    Located approximately three kilometers via Prefectural Route 54 from the Hitoyoshi Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway, this inexpensive and tasty local food, gyoza pot sticker restaurant is loved in Hitoyoshi. Their gyoza, with an exquisite balance of crispy thin skin, fragrant texture and juicy secret filling, are small, have a good aftertaste, and most people order portions for two people or more. The only other menu items besides gyoza are rice and beer. The ingredients are of course all handmade up to the skin and sauce, so it closes as soon as everything is gone. You can also make takeout orders.

    美味しい噂は以前から知ってたけどようやく行けました。 ちょっと待ったけどすぐに席につけて堪能しました。 餃子は小ぶりで野菜がいっぱい入ってるみたいで、一人2人前食べたけどあっという間に食べてしまいました。 噂に違わず美味しかったです。駐車場狭いけど近くに臨時駐車場がありました。

    A yakiniku Japanese-style grill-it-yourself barbecue restaurant adjoining a roadside station located at the foot of Mt. Aso. Taking pride in its use of Aka beef, a local specialty product raised on the abundant grasslands of southern Aso, here customers can enjoy tender, lean, flavorful meat. This meat is particularly popular with women because it has just the right amount of fat and doesn't make you feel heavy even after eating a lot of it. The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows provide diners with a panoramic view of the naturally beautiful Aso area, and the scenery created by the outer crater rim and mountain foot is quite popular. The sight of the famous Isshingyo Sakura Tree in full bloom in spring is also stunning. In the restaurant's meat shop, you can purchase meat to take home with you.

    Absolutely worth every cent and it is not even expensive in the first place , US$50 for a set for two that includes 4 different cut and sides. The meat is definitely of premium grade and taste...

    This Chinese restaurant adjoins Kumamoto Hotel Castle. In an elegantly decorated establishment decorated with Chinese-style furnishings, customers can savor the essence of Sichuan cuisine, in which each dish is said to have its own quality and 100 dishes will each have their own flavor. The head chef was the favorite apprentice of the late Sichuan cuisine master Chen Kenmin. The chef's preeminent skills have even earned him the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare's Contemporary Master Craftsmen Award for superior craftsmen, the first Chinese chef in western Japan to be so honored. Together with his staff, he has continued to combine supreme effort and creative flourishes to create first-class cuisine since the restaurant was established.

    店構えも雰囲気も割と本格的ですし、注文した料理も、どれもかなり本格的に思えます。ただ、私が食べた定食に関しては、味は本場で使われる香辛料の使用はかなり控えめで、ある意味癖も無く、無難に食べる事が出来ると思います。(何か足らない)、あと気になるのは、内容に対して確実に二割は高いイメージです。

    昔からある焼肉屋さんで焼肉のお肉も良いですが私が行った際に必ず注文するのがチーズちぢみ。たっぷりチーズが乗った分厚いチヂミ、ごま油の効いたタレで食べるのがおいしいです。

    Well worth the visit, but as a warning they spoke very little English. You can fight through it with Google translate or a little Japanese of your own like us though.
