- First opened in 1999, this restaurant is divided up into three areas, the Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) Area, where guests can take their time to enjoy a meal, the Hitsuji (Sheep) Area, where you can meet and pet animals in a natural setting, and the Yamagoya (Mountain Hut) Area, a gallery used to host various exhibits and events. In the Sakura Area, course meals are available for both lunch and dinner. Their special vegetable dishes only available on nights with full moons are also popular. The Hitsuji Area offers special plates, soup sets, and more.

10時に到着して散策を楽しみ、セイロンティーを頼んでこたつでゆっくりしました。寒い日でしたが、こたつが要らないくらいサンルームになっていて暖かく過ごせました。カレープレートはボリュームが多く、単品でも良かったです。

- This charcoal barbecue restaurant is located a five-minute walk from Amagatsuji Station on the Kintetsu Railway. There are horigotatsu seats (dug out seats) where you can relax in a leisurely way, and table seats that are easy to sit in, making it easily accessible by people of all ages. The meat is carefully selected fresh Japanese beef and you can taste its deliciousness in the traditional sauce that has been passed down for 30 years. Their side menu also has special dishes such as homemade kimchi and chijimi Korean pancakes made using an original method. You can order your favorite meat separately, as well as an assorted meat platter set, and you can enjoy carefully selected meat according to your own preferences.

With a reputation almost as stellar as that of Kyoto, Nara is a must-visit for those searching for the remains of "traditional Japan." The largely green Nara city holds the majority of the prefecture’s treasures, such as the iconic Todai-ji Temple, in which a 15-meter tall Great Buddha sits, and Nara Park, where deer flock to befriend passersby. While mountains are by no means hard to come by in this area, for hiking with a reward, head to the Kii Mountains’ Yoshino district in spring, when the hillsides put on an impressive display of white and pink cherry blossoms.
