The restaurant's specialty is its Simmered Dish Course with stewed dishes that taste somewhat different from what you might make at home. You can choose between main items that include Japanese black beef tongue stew, Hida beef stew, and red wine stewed beef tail. Courses come with soup, salad, rice, and dessert. It's often crowded on weekends, so reservations are recommended.

The curry features lots of onions and a blend of 28 spices. The store's motto is ""Curry is Alive."" It takes about eight days to make their curry roux, and another day on top of that to make their own curry sauce. Hida pork curry is their signature dish. It's lighter than it looks and goes great with a richer curry. It's a popular shop with foreign tourists visiting Takayama."

    This Hida beef restaurant is located in the old town across the Miya River from JR Takayama Station in Gifu Prefecture. Their classic Hida beef skewers are grilled one by one when you order them. They have three kinds of grilled skewers: especially thick marbled slices, normal A5 roast pieces, and minced meatballs. In addition, the thick stew with koji miso (miso bean paste made with koji mold using soybeans and wheat) and inaka miso (barley miso) mixed together is another popular menu item. They also offer stew with a soft-boiled egg, making you want to order beer to enjoy together with your meal. They also sell retort products as souvenirs.

    This cafe with an Asian taste is located near the Nagara River in a refurbished 100 year-old storehouse. On the first floor that has a cute Asian atmosphere, there is relaxing sofa-seating popular for gatherings of friends. On the second floor, there are tatami mat floor, table seating and terrace seating available. Their “Natu Goreng,” a rice dish topped with a hamburger steak, demi-glace sauce and a sunny-side up egg, is the immovable favorite. Their Thai-style yakisoba “pad thai” with shrimp, chicken and vegetables is highly recommended. They also hold regular live jazz performances.     コスパのとてもよい店です。たれの味もおいしいです。一人前の量が多いので、食べ放題のメニューよりも、アラカルトで頼んだほうが安くつきます。ホットペッパーのクーポンを見せると、ドリンクバー、サラダバー、あと２，３種類の肉が半額になります。ただし、サラダバーは種類が少ないです。また、肉の味は日によっていまいちのときもありました。
