A convention center capable of hosting domestic and international trade fairs, product fairs, exhibitions, events, and meetings. There’s always a host of fun programs being conducted at Makuhari Messe. In addition to 11 exhibition halls, there’s also numerous conference rooms, restaurants, and other facilities; the size of the structure will astound you. The shortest access routes for international exhibition halls 1-8 and 9-11, the Makuhari Event Hall, and the international conference rooms all differ, so be sure to check where the event you’re interested in is before heading out.

Makuhari Messe looked a little shabby compared to Tokyo Big Site. The site was big enough but it looked so much outdated.

This business area—IKSPIARI—is divided into nine zones according to theme, with 140 charming restaurants and shops to make a street filled with entertainment and fun. The centrally-located square is reminiscent of the outdoor amphitheaters of Europe, and is home to many events. There is also a movie theater, so you can enjoy a meal, shopping, and a movie—perfect for kids and adults.

It was really crowded everywhere, impossible to walk into a restaurant. At popular meal times, there would be queues of at least 10 parties. Even at a timing of 2pm for lunch, there were still queues...

In this park are transplanted all of the cherry trees that were about to be lost during the construction of Narita International Airport. Many people visit this park, located on an elevated knoll, where airplane takeoffs and landings can be watched up close while viewing the beautiful cherry blossoms.

A great spot to come and see the planes take off and land. Beautiful to visit during Sakura season and autumn but really good all year round for the planes!

The Museum of Aeronautical Sciences is the place to learn about the science of aviation and aviation technology. Museum visitors can enjoy the outdoor exhibition plaza, which displays Cessnas, helicopters, and other aircraft. The indoor portion of the museum contains exhibits of aviation-related art and serves as the site for pre-licensing seminars for aspiring aeronautical radio operators. The museum shop sells scale models of aircraft and a large selection of other aviation-related souvenirs and novelties.

Big & spacious place to walk around to view the aeroplanes. I did not buy tickets to enter the building. I just hung around outside & walked around to peek into the aeroplanes.

This soccer stadium is located about 20 minutes on foot from the east exit of Kashiwa Station. It's the home field of the Kashiwa Reysol J-League team, and is still sometimes called by its former name, Hitachi Kashiwa Soccer Stadium. The stands are close to field, getting you much closer to the action than at most stadiums.

Said to be the remnants of castle for the shogun’s council members, like Hotta household, the Sakura Castle Ruins form the center of this ruins-based park. Here you’ll find various remnants of Sakura Castle, like the tower and dry moat. There’s also the Sakura Castle Park Center, which displays important historical materials, artifacts, old pictures, and models of Sakura Castle, and the Sankeitei, a tea house modeled after the Koho-an tea house in Kyoto’s Daitoku-ji Temple. The park is also famous for its plants, with cherry trees, peonies, plum trees, irises and many other flowering trees.

This soccer arena, part of Soga Sports Park in Kawasaki-cho, Chuo Ward, Chiba City, is the J League's Ichihara Chiba JEF United's home stadium. Stores open inside the facility and a food stall area is set up outside that attracts a crowd while games are in progress.

Its collection includes paintings from the Edo period (1603?1868), woodblock prints from the Edo through early Showa periods (1926?1989), and Japanese and Western modern art.
