Its Satoyama Shokudo is a restaurant that features the products of the area's fields and oceans, and the school's former gymnasium is now the site of a farmers' market, Kyonan Raku Ichi, which sells locally grown vegetables and flowers, and many other items that can serve as originalsouvenirs from the area. Also, on the school grounds are a lodging facility, Manabi no Yado, which preserves traces of the old school, and a hot spring facility, Sato no Oyu.

    This roadside station is on the Heisaura Coast facing the bay of the same name is a fun spot for the whole family. It is adjacent to Aloha Garden Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture's largest botanical garden, which is designed to be reminiscent of Hawaii. Surrounded by palm trees, the facility has a tropical feel, and its restaurant mainly serves Hawaiian cuisine. The hot spring facility Tateyama Onsen Senri no Kaze is also on the premises. Accommodation is also available, so you can use it as a base for visiting the beach, too.

    道の駅ということで、地元の野菜や果物を、手作り品などを期待していたのですが、 隣接しているアロハガーデン館山の入り口で、アロハガーデンのお土産物や、千葉のお菓子などばかりで野菜や果物はなかったので残念でした。
