    "This roadside station, located on National Route 4 in Hiraizumi Town, opened in April 2017. It is nicknamed the ""Kugane Hanasaku Risokyo"" (Ideal Land of Golden Blooming Flowers). The station's exterior, mixing black with gold highlights, blends in nicely with the scenery of Hiraizumi. The spacious interior is accented with warm woods and is divided into an information center, local specialty products area, and a restaurant. The local specialty products market carries fresh farm products, popular doburoku unrefined sakes, and other products from Hiraizumi Town. In the restaurant, you can enjoy dishes made with fresh vegetables and other local ingredients."

    This roadside station is located along National Route 45 in the Sanriku-cho area of Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture. Various seasonal seafood such as abalone from Sanriku-cho is sold here. In addition to the fresh fish corner, Persimmon ice cream using the Sanriku specialty, Koeda persimmon, is also popular. With facilities such as a resting area, it is widely used as a place to socialize by both local residents and tourists.

    This is a local food and souvenir shop on Sanriku road. I visited here every time when I come to Ofunato. I tasted the softcream everytime, althought the temperature was under 1 degree.

In addition, they offer curry and ramen using spinach. There is also a restaurant certified with two stars for local production and consumption visited by many tourists.

    今回初めてお店に入りました。お昼ごはんを食べたいと思って、こちらの道の駅に初めて寄りました。友達が杜中茶ポークかつ丼を注文して、私も道の駅おすすめのほうれん草入り冷やし中華を注文しましたが、麺の色が緑色でとてもびっくりしましたよ☺️

In the direct sales store for produce, they sell only items harvested in Iwate Town, such as shiitake mushrooms, asparagus and wasabi, and the storefront is lined with seasonal ingredients. Besides a ramen restaurant using the specialty Haru Midori cabbage and another restaurant where you can taste meat dishes with things like Iwate Menkoi Ushi, there is also a teahouse where you can enjoy ice cream and soba buckwheat noodles. In addition, it is adjoined by the Ishigami-no-oka Museum of Art sculpture museum.

    岩手町に行くと必ず立ち寄る道の駅。いつも混んでいます。 キャベツで有名な町ですが、この時期は緑野菜満載。今回は旬のアスパラガスとブロッコリーをゲット。花や野菜の苗も豊富で遠方から苗目当てに来る方もいるそうです。私もペチュニア苗をゲット。力強く元気に咲いています。 石神の丘の公園は現在リニューアル工事中。来年新しくなったラベンダー畑を見られるのが楽しみです。

    厳美渓の流れに沿った道路が旧道なら、新道と言いましょうか、平行して走る広い通りにあって、一関博物館の目をひく建物の横にありました。地元は餅が名物だそうで、大きなオードブル皿に盛られた様子はびっくりものでした。お餅は確かに美味しいです。産直とお土産、両方で楽しくショッピングできました。

    この道の駅の脇に、釜石線が通っており、夜になるとライトアップされて幻想的な風景 が堪能出来ます。 特にSL銀河が通る際は、写真も映えます。 個人的には、夜のライトアップされたなか、列車が通過する風景をSL銀河で運行してほしいです。

    名前の通り、もともとは学校だったようです。お土産物の取扱もおおく、地元で栽培されている野菜や肉類も売っています。食事もできますが、利用はしていません。盛岡から岩泉の間にはほとんど店がないので、休憩に立ち寄るにはちょうどよいです。

    「ビーフビレッジ」という名前にひかれて入りました。一番気になったべごっこ丼はなかったので焼肉にしましたが、お肉がおいしいと感じました。次の機会にはべごっこ丼に挑戦したいと思います。
