"The Ichikawa Zoological and Botanical Garden houses lesser pandas, orangutans, monkeys, various small animals, and birds. The theme of the zoo is ""Encounters with Animals,"" and in the petting zoo area, visitors can touch marmots. Also on the grounds are a nature garden, a rose garden, and an ornamental botanical garden, all with free admission. A miniature railroad has also been installed in the zoo."

It is a tiny little zoo near where I live. I like that there is a petting zoo included as you can touch and brush some farm animals like guinea pigs, goats and a pig. The variety is of course small...

北総鉄道の大町駅が最寄り駅。駐車場は500円で大人の入場料は440円。規模は小さいがオランウータンやレッサーパンダもいて楽しめる。周囲は梨園が多くて環境は良い。子供連れの場合、歩く距離が少なく園内に遊具もあるから引率者は、それほど疲れない。

市川市にある動物園と公園が一緒になった施設です。今回は動物園に行きましたが、大人410円と格安。しかも未就学児はタダなのでお得です。ライオンなどはいないので、物足りなく感じるかもしれませんが、値段を考えれば妥当です。なお、オムツ替え台やトイレ等はありますが、お昼ご飯はお弁当をお勧めします。
