From the beginning of November through to the beginning of April every year, from sunset to 20:00, visitors to the Country Farm Tokyo German Village, famous for its winter illuminations, can enjoy a fantastic world colored with three million lights. It is a different world from the gardens during the day where visitors can enjoy all sorts of flowers throughout the year. The place is said to be one of the three biggest illuminations in the Kanto region.

This history museum’s permanent exhibition focuses on Boso’s castle and its castle town, both in the medieval era and in recent times. The museum exhibits artifacts related to it, like armor, antique equipment, and ancient documents, as well as materials on life in samurai society and the castle town. Since Honda Tadakatsu was once the castle’s lord, it was built on the famous Otaki ruins of the Kazusa clan’s inner citadel (Tadakatsu was one of the four generals that served Tokugawa Ieyasu).

ゴーカートに4人の孫は大喜びでした。恐竜の展示も迫力あって楽しかったです。釣り堀で鯉釣りに挑戦しましたが寒いと池の底に潜ってしまいエサにくいつかないとのことですが 14匹釣れました。風が冷たい日でしたが孫達は喜んで遊びました。

The Pool is open between the third Saturday in July and August 31st (or until Sunday if August 31st falls on a Friday or Saturday). There are four pools—a regular swimming pool, a wave pool, a lazy river pool, and a children’s pool—as well as three different water slides for visitors to enjoy.

Original Maker Umizuri Koen is a sea fishing facility located inside Yorogawa Seaside Park. Visitors can enjoy sea fishing on a wharf with guardrails that extends into the water parallel to the shore. There are also shops that sell or rent fishing gear, restaurants, and toilets available. Since the wharf is well monitored and a monitor staff is stationed, this facility is easy for families and beginners to use. This is a city-sponsored public facility, so it is available for experiential field trips by elementary and middle school groups. Among the regular events held here are fishing contests, fishing lessons, and releases of young fish into the sea.

The Ichihara Lakeside Museum underwent renewal and re-opened in 2013. It is an extremely charming art museum that makes great use of its location on the coast of Lake Takataki. First and foremost, the diverse exhibits are endlessly fascinating, but you will also find a museum shop with an array of local Ichihara products and original goods with the museum logo. And you can enjoy a great pizza restaurant that uses mainly ingredients from Boso.

湖のほとりにあり、景色がよい。館内だけでなく、屋外展示も面白い。湖畔には桜が多く植えられ、桜の時期にはゆっくりと歩くのもよい。

It has a tall greenhouse where you can pick strawberries while standing and a soil culture greenhouse where you can observe their growth while crouching, and you can also enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberry picking for 30 minutes from mid-December to late May. The Fish is a market place for Minamiboso area. It is a pleasurable facility housing a cafe, sourvenir shops, and a restaurant overlooking the ocean from which you can dine on the fresh catch of the very same waters. The Baumkuchen confectionery Minamitei, awarded the highest Monde Selection Grand Gold Quality Award for two years running, is located here. You can watch the chefs making the confections through a glass window.

Sodegaura Forest Raceway can accommodate motorcycle and automobile racing. It is recommended that diners sit on the terrace when the weather is good. The restaurant's most popular dish is its delicious and filling Katsu Karee (breaded pork cutlet with curry sauce).

"This strawberry farm is in Oi, Kimitsu City. Besides picking strawberry from January to May, you can pick cabbage around the middle of March and poppies from early January. They grow about 10 kinds of strawberries with availability changing depending on the season, including an unusual white variety called ""Awayuki."" The strawberries are grown on raised platforms, so you can pick them while standing."

2月29日、朝9時半ごろ行きました。一人当たりの料金は2000円で30分間食べ放題が楽しめます。紅ほっぺをはじめ何種類かのいちごが楽しめました。2パックひと箱で売られており、お土産にすることもできます。

展示物も、かなりしっかりしたものでした。これで無料とはすごい。過去の展示物に解説を加えたパンフレットを、本にまとめたりしてくれないかな…。学芸員の方の努力が素晴らしいです。もっと多くの人に見てもらいたい。

The Kanaya Art Museum is located along the Uchibo-Nagisa Line in Kanaya, Futtsu City. The museum was opened in 2010 as part of the efforts to rejuvenate the town under the slogan of “Kanaya, the town of stone and art”. As well as various exhibitions on works donated by art lovers and loaned pieces of work, the museum also holds events like concerts, etc. Admission fees vary from exhibition to exhibition, but visitors can get tickets by participating in local activities such as clean-ups and grass cutting, etc. (booking required at least one day in advance).

友人の作品展があったので訪問です。金谷から鋸山美術館に名前を変更ということだけれども、まだ変更していません。なぜかと尋ねたら、ロゴがまだできていないんだとか・・・・こじんまりの美術館で、庭の作品もきれいです。

4歳の子供の初めてのキャンプ体験で利用しました。テントサイトは50サイトぐらいはあるでしょうか？とても広い印象でした。炊事場やトイレまでも整備されていて子供でも安心して歩けました。お盆の時期なのでサイトはほぼ満員といった感じ。周りも家族連ればかりでした。ネットで予約が出来、クレジットが使えるところも良かったです。
