    This tourist information center with bathing facilities is located in Tokura, Oze Nyuzan-guchi, in Tone County, Gunma Prefecture. At the Oze Nature Center inside the facility, visitors can learn about the various things to be careful of when entering Oze area and about the history, nature and environmental protection activities of Oze. There are also pamphlets with seasonal information and exhibits of Oze's plant and animal life to be seen here. There is an adjoining hot spring called Tokura no Yu, which has an outdoor bath with an extendable roof. The alkaline simple sulfuric free-flowing hot spring draws 100% of its water from the source of the spring and relieves bathers of their fatigue from the mountain climb.

    This is about 50 minutes from the Akagi Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway, in an excellent location overlooking the surrounding mountains. There is a café and shop in addition to the observation deck overlooking Shirakaba Ranch, and it is a great place to drop in when visiting Shirakaba Ranch to stroll through the azaleas, or trekking or driving in the area. In the Shirakaba-no-Mori library corner visitors can see displays on the history and literature of Mt. Akagi, and material regarding writers of the region. It is also the goal of the “Maebashi Mt. Akagi Hill Climb”. The facility is open from mid-April to mid-November.

In addition, the visitor center has a rest corner where you can rest yourself after walking.

The building was originally the shop, attached building, residence, and warehouse of the Tamura family who was the merchant of the kitchenware and flax business known as Happyakukin. It now sells Tochigi specialties including pickled goods, miso, soba flour, and rice crackers and there's a restaurant that serves soba noodles on the first floor. You can also buy goods featuring Tochigi's mascot character, Tochisuke.

They sell special products with a focus on Chiba Prefecture including merchandise of the prefectural mascot Chiba-kun, Boshu Uchiwa (known as one of the three best Japanese fans), and prepared items made with Chiba grown peanuts. They also provide tourist information for spots around the prefecture, so lots of people stop in while travelling through.

    A tourist information center located in Kobe City. Located on the first floor of JR Sannomiya Station, the center serves as a gateway to the Sannomiya area and beyond. The center is filled with pamphlets on sightseeing spots and events in Kobe. Many of the center's pamphlets are available in English, Chinese, and Korean. There are always staff members on hand, and many of them are also able to speak more than one language. Visitors can purchase a commemorative pin celebrating 150 years since the opening of the Port of Kobe.

    The ladies there are very friendly and helpful. The free WIFI codes for the Japanese Rail system is good. We had no trouble getting on it. It does bomb out once your train leave a station but...

It is located at the north exit of the west concourse on the first floor of JR Sapporo Station, and is the first facility in Japan to contain the three entities of the prefecture, municipality and JR. There is also a corner with pamphlets from all around Hokkaido and a cafe that publicizes and sells safe and sound Hokkaido foods where it is easy to savor light refreshments using local specialties.

    The Asahidake Visitor Center is near Asahidake Station on the Asahidake Ropeway and is the central location for the sightseeing in Mt. Asahi. Here you can see displays, photos and a DVD about the origin of Mt. Asahi and the nature surrounding Mt. Daisetsu. There is a place to sit down and relax where people who have been enjoying mountain climbing, walking and cross country skiing can unwind. At the information counter, you can hire snowshoes and cross country skiing equipment. They also have the latest local information and information on guides.

    We were on the way to the ropeway station and saw this. We dropped by for 15 minutes and that was enough. Not a bad visitor center but just not very exciting at all.
