- A roadside station located a 30-minute drive from Kanoya City on National Route 220 traveling towards Shibushi. Rhinoceros beetle sumo is a popular event in Osaki Town, and two giant rhinoceros beetle statues stand in front of the station. Situated on the grounds of Asupal OSAKI, visitors will find a hot spring bathhouse, hotel, restaurant, and shop available for their use. The Osaki Fureai no Sato Park is a renowned destination for cherry blossom viewing and bustles with visitors during the blooming period in spring.

国道２２０号沿いの道の駅。道路脇２匹の巨大なカブトムシのモニュメントがイミフで笑えます。案内所のスタッフは気さく。室内顔ハメ看板を写真に取っていたら「一緒に写真撮りましょうか？」など世話を焼いてくれます。「お先に失礼します。」と思わず突っ込みたくなります。

- This is a tourist facility in Sanada Town, Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, a village famous as the birthplace of samurai Yukimura Sanada and two other generation leaders of the Sanada clan. 万座温泉に行く途中に立ち寄って休憩をしましたが、小さな道の駅ですね。店内を散策しながら珍しいものがないか探しましたが、いたって普通の売店とお土産コーナーがありました。 そこでは自動販売機のコーヒーを購入し休憩をさせていただきました。

島原は、雲仙からの湧水があちらこちらで噴出している、水の都的な町です。島原城を観光した後、数百ｍほど南側にある町は、「鯉の泳ぐまち」として人気のスポットです。そこに、観光交流センター清流亭がありました。 名水百選のまち「島原」の湧水群等の案内所的な施設のようで、観光案内や地元物産の紹介をしていました。建物の前庭には池があって、きれいな水が湧き出していました。

奥入瀬渓流の入口、焼山にある道の駅です。奥入瀬渓流には小さな休憩所しかないので、渓流の散策前や散策後に、ここで食事をしたり、買い物をしたりするのがお勧めです。十和田バラ焼きなど、青森の名産が食べられます。

十和田湖湖畔、遊覧船乗り場のすぐ近くにあります。1階はビジターセンター兼観光案内の様な感じです。2階に上がると、乙女の像に関する高村光太郎さんや、大町桂月さんの説明パネルが展示され、見ごたえがあります。椅子もあるので、時間待ちや休憩にちょうど良いです。入場無料です。

宇奈月温泉にある共同浴場。宇奈月温泉駅から徒歩で5分ほど。駅近で、列車の時間まちで利用しました。とてもきれいな施設で、浴室も広いです。休憩スペースも充実しています。

増田の町並み案内所。こちらは国道342号線ぞいにあり、広めの駐車場があります。車で行かれる場合は、まずこちらに駐車して、案内所でマップをいただいてから散策されることをおすすめします。帰りはこちらでお土産も買えます。トイレあり。

- Located at the Koshimizu Natural Flower Garden in Abashiri Quasi-National Park, the “Hana” Information Center has a wide-screen movie theater showing films about the natural wonders of Koshimizu and how they change with the seasons, displays of specimens of the wild flowers that are found in the Koshimizu Primeval Garden, a shop, etc. Visitors are sure to enjoy themselves here whatever the weather. The Center is around 20 minutes’ journey by bus from Abashiri Station on the JR Senmo Line; get off at the “Gensei Kaen” bus stop.

- Yuing Shimanto is a tourist center located just across the Niida River after getting off the Kochi Expressway’s Shimantocho Chuo Interchange. It provides a toilet and a restaurant that is mainly used as the rest spot by tourists who have been driving a long time. The restaurant offers a number of dishes, and they have a morning breakfast buffet that the locals also love. They also sell specialty products from the Shimanto River basin. Try the freshly prepared onigiri rice balls made with Niida rice, also called “fragrant rice.”

- The tourism and production center adjacent to JR Yoichi Station sells special products and also offers tourist information. In the souvenir corner there is a wide variety of liquors including Nikka Whiskey famous from the NHK morning drama and Yoichi wine. Their freshly baked apple pies using locally grown apples and handmade gelato are loved not only by tourists but also by locals. On the second floor is “Jump Kingdom Yoichi Exhibition Hall” displaying approximately 200 items of ski jumping Olympic medalists including skis they used etc.

Established as part of a project to renovate the station area, the center was designed to harmonize with the single story reinforced concrete station building. There are also pamphlets written in a variety of languages for international tourists. In addition, the center has information terminals for disabled tourists.

- This multipurpose hall and tourist center is a one-minute walk from Iwasehama Station, the last stop on the Toyama Light Rail Portram. The hall offers a tourist information center and rental cycles, making it an optimal place to start a day exploring Iwase. It is also the location of one of the boat docks of the Fugan Suijo Line. Enjoy the comfortable breeze and the views of Fugan Canal from the deck of one of the line's passenger boats. Inside the hall there is a seafood restaurant popular for pizza and pasta made with lavish amounts of seafood. - This is Kitano Tourist Information Center in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and it is located in front of the famous former residence “Kazamidori no Yakata”. In addition to providing sightseeing information on Kobe and the Kitano district which is lined with former residences of early foreign settlers, the information center is also attached to a café and a shop selling souvenirs. It can also be used with ease for a break while going for a walk. There is a multifunctional toilet for wheelchair users/ostomates, and there is a baby seat provided for changing diapers. It is open throughout the year.
